Tactical SMG is worth bringing up too. Probably in the running for the greatest SMG in history pre-patch, but now it has low ammo and not good DPS
The worst thing about it is that 2 seasons after they gutted it, they reused its model and basically same stats as the makeshift SMG. That is insulting. And the fact it has gotten zero buffs since, not in Season OG nor in Reload for the 3-ish weeks it was in there. It's so upsetting to see this happen to one of my favourite weapons (they even murdered its firing sound)

Reaper even after the nerfs was still OP, it's the perfect clapback for why gun mods fail and in a game thats nothing but projectile bullets, it'll unironically be a great option.
The reaper was op basically entirely because it had 5 shots and could have a scope with no gleam. The heavy impact from c5s3 is basically the same gun but only a 4x scope, and only 1 bullet and nobody complains it op
@@alexskocy9948 pretty much, only reason the HI isnt as broken is that we currently have way stronger heavy hitters with boom bolt and magnetos power.
The reaper was trash after the nerfs. It basically became useless at long range. They should have left it alone.
@@marshmallowblaster The reason it seems like trash was because Waterbending got added around the time the last of the nerfs was implemented, making it seem useless at range. Sure the rifle took more skill to get those shots, but when you can mod the rifle, it's still going to be OP since every bullet is a projectile.
@marshmallowblaster any weapon that can reliably 1 tap isn't useless. Harder to use for sure, but unless they took away its 1 shot, kill it will always have a use

The most painful fact about the guided missile is it was COMPLETELY removed from the files. Not in Creative, not for Creative 2.0, let alone in any official gamemode. Like it never existed.

The heavy impact taking the place of the heavy sniper is absolutely diabolical, especially with a bullet drop worse than my ability to throw
The Heavy Sniper changes baffle me the most. Its ENTIRE GIMMICK and selling point was breaking structures in one hit. I'm nearly 100% sure that's how it was advertised in Chapter 1. This is a nerf done wrong and I'm mad about it. Especially because in other seasons they handled balancing it decently well (Chapter 3 retooled it slightly with heavy damage to vehicles in return for the base damage it lost, semi-useful in that season)
How come people forgot that in chapter 4 llamas used to drop weapons
The wierdest thing about the heavy sniper nerf was that it felt like the whole point of the heavy was to 1 shot builds and that aspect was the one that got removed
The Scoped AR and Tactical SMG were absolutely ruined by nerfs

The stinger SMG I reckon should've be on this list, it's still a really solid weapon even after the nerfs, imo it's a B or even low A tier weapon, just as good as the standard SMG/P90, but it's absolutely no where near as good as it was when it first released.
Also a huge nerf was when you could find epic and maybe even legendary but I can’t remember as ground loot.

I hate that Fortnite nerfs everything good/fun. They don’t realize that balancing everything makes the game boring. You need some bad things and some good things to make the game interesting and fun.
Ak had the biggest fall off of all time, went from being the best AR of all time to a bottom 5-10. It could nearly 1 shot headshot or 2 shot bodyshot.
The heavy sniper nerf was the biggest peice of crap ever because the whole point was that it broke every wall with one shot

you forgot to mention that for a long while Llamas would also drop the exotic chug cannon, one of the best healing items of all time.
i just realized that back in chapter 2 they changed the heavy sniper to be used more against vehicles, but instead of bringing it back this season, they just made a whole new sniper (which i’m pretty sure does deal more damage against vehicles than the heavy sniper, but i just think it was a missed opportunity).

guided missile should come back cause the only reason it got vaulted is because we where bad at building back then, I think now we can deal with it relatively well
now do the biggest buffs
For pt.2 or 3 you should put slurp juice (For those who forgot they nerf it to when ever you got them which was At Forcast, Combat Cash, And Loot Island, From getting two to getting one)
Not a massive nerf, plus they already had been buffed from healing 75 Health/shield while healing 1 per tick and only one bar at a time to healing 3 health and shield per tick
Underrated opinion but i actually liked when lamas moved since if you let them explode you would get a free rift and some good healabled and loot from the trail
Tacticle smg fire rate from 13 to 9, and bullet magazine decreased from 35 to 25. Basically destroying the weopon.

Llamas moved in Ch5, and the Heavy Sniper dealt over 200 headshot damage in Ch4
You also forgot planes, they were insanely op back in chapter 1 season 7 in my opinion, and I was really excited when they said they would bring it back in chapter 4 but then they had to add fuel to the planes and it ran out very quickly.
Are we gonna mention AR headshot multiplier going from 2x to 1.5x? Didn’t make them obsolete, obviously, but was a massive nerf.

The llamas actually went back to not moving anymore during and after fortnite og as they were also not moving in ch5 s1
The change of the 2x scope and turned it into the thermal scope was definitely a sniper nerf because I was finally good with the 2x scope for about 1 quarter of the season then it got changed and I still haven’t gotten good with it
In chapter 5, season 2 there was an NPC at the gravesite that if you killed it, you would get a blue sniper

How to we not address the Boom Bow?
The "mythic" TNTina boom bow in C2S2 was WORSE and weaker than the OG Chapter 1 boom bow.
Went from a dope weapon to the ONE mythic that literally no one bothered to ever go after or, if they did land at the Rig, just didn't bother to pick it up.
Ok but that's something different, the og boom bow is still the same.
Do a top 10 best weapons in their prime, like when the weapon was at its best point, like for instance minigun before it got the nerf where it overheats

Llamas aren’t vaulted, they are just extremely rare, I found one 2 months ago.
The Mythic MK-7 is still arguably the best AR in fortnite ( at all of the weapons current state )
