Please don't stop this type of tutorial ahah love them, it's easy to follow as a ultra beginner in houdini cuz you don't skip part, you explain from A to Z how to achieve this effect and it's perfect ! Also love your modern art render style. You remind me Ducky3d on Blender at his beginning, If you continue that type of video in the long term i'm sure you will have the same amount of subscriber as him ! :)
Oh that's very great to hear from you! Thanks a lot! Yes, I'm following the same path as Ducky, because I truly think that abstract motion design with Houdini is not that covered on RUclips, same was with Motion and Blender when Ducky started. Big respect to him!
@@nickmedukha you're welcome ! Yes houdini is still a "niche" compared to Blender, but it's cool to see the increase of youtuber like you who try to prove that houdini isn't scary for beginner.
yeah, i agree that node based system might be scary, but i really hope that Blenders geo nodes will make the concept of using nodes more and more popular, so its a cross-promo haha :D Houdini, as I see it, always was considered a serious VFX tool that is used in AAA studios etc. it surely is, but here im using it on my cheap macbook and still getting some nice flowers haha :D
@@nickmedukha yes i think the same : this huge developpment/adoption of blender we can see actually will of course attract these same people to houdini in the futur. Keep it up bro ! 💪
What a clever use of vellum with lovely results! There’s a node called Superformula Shapes hidden in Labs that you might like for your starting shapes. I contributed it as part of Houdini’s HDA contest and their team cleaned it up and released it.
created my first procedural flowers thanks to you and it's during the war here in Ukraine, this gave me the spring feeling despite everything around thank you!
Thank you sir. Btw why some people always do bring Houdini to Cinema 4D ? What is the reason combining Houdini and Cinema 4D ? Why not just only use Houdini because it's difficult to learn two 3D software ?
Thank you so much for the awesome video, wondering is it because I am using a houdini19.5, when I use curve and click 3, couldnt have the quick flower mock up🥲
Sorry for some editing voice over mistakes, been a bit in a rush :)

You are the best....❤

So cool, thanks for sharing !
Always welcome!
Nice tutorial for a M1 user! Just a question, why you don't use Houdini to final render but change to C4D instead?
