JUST 1 LAYER: Quick Retouch with Texture in Photoshop!

Imagine this: You need quick skin retouching, and that's where the 'one layer technique' works like magic. It's non-destructive and flexible.
Let's get started! Duplicate the layer (Ctrl/Cmd+J), then convert it into a smart object. Now, apply the 'High Pass filter' for fine details enhancement.
Change the layer blending mode to 'Linear Light' to bring back colors and vibrancy. Next, apply 'Invert' (Ctrl/Cmd+I) to emphasize texture and contours.
To refine the look, use 'Levels' with a clipping mask to adjust contrast and brightness.
Now, add a touch of Gaussian blur from the 'Blur' menu. Keep it subtle for texture enhancement.
To focus the effect on the skin, add an inverted layer mask and paint over the skin with a soft brush.
Fine-tune the texture by adjusting the radius in the 'High Pass' and 'Gaussian Blur' layers.
