I always prefer the theme a little downtempo and synthy. It needs to be a bit spooky and not just super hero theme. The low pitched organ really sells it for me.
I would have love that. Matt Smith was my favourite Doctor of the show but it understandably why David back as The Doctor. It RTD and he didn’t write Matt Smith Doctor except in the Sarah Jane adventures and of course this is basically a continuation after what happened in series 4 after what happened to Donna and it was really with David Tennant.
@@L.Dotty7 no. I always thought 11th and 12th were more darker than 10th. 10th only started getting darker after the waters of mars episode near the end of his run. 11th started getting darker in series 6 and 12th was dark right from the beginning of his run but that my opinion of course.
I’ve heard a bunch of these different versions of the new theme over the past few weeks and despite all the renditions being good like Gold’s original, none of them have really struck with me or made me want to listen to it again. *This* though? This I like. It’s so ominous, dark and mysterious in how it sounds. This is the kind of theme I’d put in front of Empty Child, Blink, Midnight, Listen, Wild Blue Yonder, etc to let you know you’re in for a really memorably dark episode. Surprised by how much I do like it tbh. 😅
Somehow it sounds even better in low pitch?!

It sounds more similar to the 2008 theme for me
@@themightythor1160ye, gives that doctor-Ness sort of thing
This is how it would sound if Matt Smith was the one who came back, and honestly it fits quite well.
Idk it sounds moreso for 10 I think, he’s more darker than 11 so it’d suit him more

Marts not coming back though so sorry
Exactly
High and low this theme just sounds amazing ✨
that baseline has a strong link to “I Am The Doctor”, makes sense that it’s linked
This makes me think of older doctor who themes

Outstanding! 🤩👏
Damn this actually sounds so kuch nicer than the original
This reminds of that series 1 trailer / teaser theme
This sounds for an angry doctor
it sounds like “I Am The Doctor” without the operatic vocalizing, so you’re right!
Any lower pitched and angrier, we’ll get John Hurt as 14th Doctor instead
It sort reminds of the original you might say.
Good, although I would of preferred it lower
Paul mcgann new series..
Ah this would suit him so much, I want them to make a 8th doctor who season spin off so badly.
The issue would be i think it would over shadow the new series..
I think Matt Smith could come back and be the doctor again
