Poor girl got the worst news in the worst way. She deserved better than that. On the other hand, I'm glad that we get a chance to see the return of good boy Nappa! I enjoyed the story of him turning good and look forward to seeing how this version of him turns out! ^^
I think my favorite thing about Jocha so far is how well her personality blends that of Bardock, Gine, and Goku together. I find that very believable. Well done. But for now, time for hugs. And maybe a little recreational trip around Earth to take her mind off things... Also, every damn time Nappa goes good/quits evil, I love it. Masako, you did this to me, dangit and thank you.
One of the greatest hallmarks of a great storyteller, in my opinion, is the ability to not only enthrall their audience, but to cause said audience to empathize with the characters within the story, if not outright share their emotions. In this chapter of Jocha's tale, Masako, you have once again proven beyond any shred of doubt that you possess that very ability. As I write this, I'm struggling to hold back the tears, and wiping away those that fall. If I could, I'd give Jocha a hug myself, and be another shoulder for her to vent her sorrows.
Daaaang lots of characters turning good today~ love this turn of events. It's funny how Nappa always ends up being the voice of reason in these lol. Wonder how Freeza will factor into this.
Amazing story telling. I love how you keep reinventing the wheel with where these stories could reasonably go. I am curious to see how the hierarchy of power goes from here.
I'm glad Jocha finally knows the whole truth, now I don't know if Vegeta would let it go, he'll probably create his own gang or mini-Empire. About Raditz, the guy, if his brother or sister finds him, he's going to suffer a lot. But I loved this episode, I hope Jocha and Tenshinhan get together in the end, Gohan would love to have a cousin to play with. Nappa was a pleasant surprise, will he join Yamcha and become a sports star like American Football or Sumo, who lives flirting with hot girls or will he look for a certain middle-aged painter to enjoy his retirement?
I love how some of these what-ifs that involve the Saiyans more end up with Good Nappa or Raditz as a side effect of the main story. It's so fun. That said, this leaves it all with a VERY interesting uncertainty going into the timespan that would've been Frieza and further. No reason for them to go to Namek, nor for Frieza to, either. So what happens next? Idk, but im excited to see where it might go.
Honestly that was a low blow that Vegeta did there, like I get he wants to stroke his ego but what he just did there goes against everything a saiyan stand for. It really just shows how far he’s fallen under frieza rule.🐱
Your story telling has improved so much since you started. The added music really sells the scene but so does your VA work. I eagerly await what's to come as well as we see how this version of Nappa turns out. Space Gardener perhaps?
I'm so happy whenever you post another part of your "What If" videos. I'm also happy that in the newest DBZA commentary (Episode 48) that Taka brought up your "Raditz Turned Good" series. I can't wait for the next episode of "R&R".
Well, Jocha learned the truth in hard way. Fortunately for her and the others, she kicked Vegeta's butt. Glad to see that Nappa has standard, at least compared to his Canon self. I'm really glad that Nappa survived in another Timeline. Jocha may never forgive him, but maybe one day she will trust him once more. Look foward the rest of her adventure with Goku and the others. Good job, Masako!
The fact that this isn't the end of the story makes me think Vegeta isn't going to take this opportunity as Nappa thinks. He's going to report back to Freeza so he can get his revenge. That or Nappa forgot to destroy his own scouter lol.
Hmm, this is an interesting one. Vegeta could go back to Frieza, or he could go out on his own. Its hard to say. But i am definitely curious to see where this goes next. The Frieza force hasnt learned about Earth, and the dragonballs are still a mystery to all. Maybe Veggie trains and tries to figure out where they went and get revenge. Or maybe he becomes an outcast and has to learn how to survive. But above all else, love the atmosphere on these newer episodes! Keep it up, Masako
Bruh it’s MasakoX, Vegeta will never get anything good. He’ll make a total waste of a character like Tien get the world while the best character in the series gets crapped on.
I LOVE THIS! I always love it when Nappa is made a more intresting charakter. Not just some dumb meathag that is hilarious and we will quote ewrything hesays.
I am so glad i was able to watch ever single video before this one moments before it came out. To be fair i honestly did not see this coming but Hey more Masako Videos More Thrills!
Another Monday, another amazing What If. Its always nice to have something in your day that brings you joy ^^. Am looking forward to this! I recall one of your videos recently, got me thinking about Master Roshi and how interesting things could have been if he had never "retired". Would love to see you tackle that some time, given the fact Super has alluded to the fun that could be had with such a what if. (As well as the permanent conquering of a rather undesirable trait)
Assuming you go that route Masako, I can hardly wait until Vegeta's kids turn up in the story, especially when Bulla is born. Jocha is really gonna get the milage out of that one!
kinda wanna see nappa be a part of this what if more, maybe he becomes some sort of business man or something, or as he said he just wants to live his years in peace so maybe he starts gardening or something peaceful.
Nice episode once again. Though I do feel Nappa's actions were rather out of character, you can argue being around Jocha instead of Raditz and all that really changed him, I suppose.
I have a feeling her and gohan gonna get along great two saiyans born with incredible powers and potential yet despite that didn’t want to be fighters in the first place. I can’t wait especially once the cell saga rolls around
Vegeta on his way to the depths of space" "I dont need Saiyans, or the Freeza force! Ill make my own Freeza force, with blackjack, and hookers!" Unironically though, i do wonder where Vegeta will end up... Under Babadi's control? Namek? Yardrat (so he can find peace in his soul after having it shattered)?
you know some thing , this is vegeta's turn to become an emperor , in case freiza is being defeated by goku and the others if they come across him , he may not dare to invade earth but what consequences will that result
The problem for Freeza & Vegeta is that they are UNAWARE of the existence of Planet Earth. . Since humans, beastman & other "Terrans" are considered to be a Pre-Warp Civilization (unable to travel to other stars faster than lightspeed), it is IMPLIED that they do not have a massive industry or tech advanced enough to justify an invasion. . The natural resources of Earth are standard, but access is more difficult because is covered 70% by deep salt water oceans. [Actually] -> The "capsule" Tech is unique in the North Galaxy (only rivaled by actual divine magic), but is unknown outside planet Earth [its "dimensional" nature leads to timetravel research, that Gods of Destruction tend to erase].
I'm guessing that Vegeta might start working with the Heeters so he can get back at Frieza. He may not be the saiyan prince anymore, but I can't help thinking that that's how he'll find his new purpose.
The way you’re treating Vegeta in these stories is getting very very old. I’ve always been honest with you about your stories. When you do stuff I like, I praise it. When you do stuff I don’t like, I will say I don’t like it. You’ve been amicable and accepting of it up to this point. I hope you continue to do so.
Some what ifs I see that could help Vegeta is 1. What if kid Vegeta went super Saiyan against Beerus. Vegeta would have to be on run from Frieza. 2. What if raddits trained like Goku. The idea being that raddits eventually becomes Vegeta's rival to how Goku is but much earlier. 3. What if bardock was on Vegeta's squad. They wouldn't get along at first but bardock would be a good mentor character to Vegeta.

Dang, sad Vegeta turned out so evil in this scenario, Early on I saw great promise in Jocha and Vegeta making up and getting together. Guess its gonna be Jocha and someone else like Napa?
@@AlfredFJones1776 Lmao, while I agree that sometimes Masako is still a bit iffy on character's more permanent deaths/departures (like Krillin's). Especially when you compare the types of far worse people that get redeemed. But this is a case where Vegeta getting humbled is still fine. It's a canon event, and the guy legit even up until the Buu saga really needs these partial humbling moments to help redeem him. Remember, the one Jocha is beating here is not the Vegeta we all know and love yet. It's the Vegeta that literally wipes out villages of innocent Nameks, kicks Gohan in the chest all while gleefully smiling right after.
Hmm, I didn't think about it until now. But would Tarble be interested in Jocha or at least friends with her. Since, he's upper class sayian with a low power level. So there would a be good chance they would have met while growing up.
It’s funny how Nappa in this series and “What If Raditz Went To Earth Instead of Goku?”, shows him treating Jocha and Kakarot better than Raditz.
at least here it makes sense why Nappa hates his guts
Well they are very different from Raditz, so it doesn't feel too out there
And I love it, even if it kinda needs a little tweak to what we were shown of his personality in canon. It's just too fun to not.
I love the fact that in the masako universe, Nappa is the more reasonable one sometimes
5:38 the fact Jocha and Goku are so in sync emotionally is sweet and yet in this instance super heart breaking to listen to

Three Words: Namekian Dragon Balls
^ This 100%. Bring him back as a kid and have Jocha raise him or something.
While I’d love for him to be brought back i don’t think Masako will
THAT'S UNTIL RADITZ SHOWS UP
In all seriousness it unlikely he would. Raditz in this WI is an utter jerk that doesn’t deserve to be brought back.
There is one truth we've seen across all what ifs, all timelines:
Nappa always secretly wanted a daughter
