The fire alarm 🚨 always went off at the most random, most inconvenient time in the dorm I lived in. It was easier to leave the door unlocked in case that happened in the middle of the night. Also, the floors shared a community bathroom, one per hall. The good thing is that no one wanted to be in each other’s rooms. Plus we were a women’s only dorm.
Well the doors for the dorms at the college I went to would be locked from the outside once you closed it. Meaning you'd have to use the key to open it. But from inside the room, you could just open it without having to use the key. Basically Locked on outside and unlocked on the inside. Technically, locked and unlocked at the same time.
Ummm, I know if you're in college you're pretty much young & dumb but....leaving your door unlocked & going back to your residence when someone is following you? Really? C'mon. If you're being followed drive to the nearest police station/campus safety. Locking your door? Shouldn't even need to be said. I read this in duh magazine. Sorry in a spicy mood today--well, also REALLY tired of stupid people I honestly don't know how some people make it in this life. Thanks for the video!

I used to say, "Oh go play jacks on the freeway" when I was annoyed with someone. These days I wonder if some of them are taking it as sound advice instead of a "go away" insult.
@@sandracox4341 agreed!! I was kind of making fun of this whole “victim blaming” over-usage. Some people use it too loosely. But I also prefaced with that for those snowflakes that get offended by ppl telling them they have any blame in things they go through. I totally agree with your definition!
Usually campus police will offer to drive you back to your dorm if you’re uncomfortable or something like this happens. It sounds like she just went back to her room on her own still. Idk how you’d be confident enough to do that after that guy chased you. He could have been hiding anywhere just waiting to see if she would walk away alone.
To my apartment/dorm besties🙌🏼 if you are being followed and end up making it to your building, DO NOT and I repeat DO NOT turn your apartment/dorm lights on immediately. They already know where you live, don’t let them know which room is yours! They’ll sometimes wait to see you turn your lights on to figure out which room is yours! Wait a good while before turning on any lights. Be safe out there especially my girlies!💜💜
When I was in college I rented an apartment on campus. It was in an old house that had been split into 6 apartments. I had been there for a few months when safety people inspected and discovered my apartment was the only one with access to the 2nd story fire escape. To give others on the second floor access, a little 10” X 10”;window was put in the door with a hammer hanging from a chain. If there was a fire a person could use the hammer to break the window, reach in, and unlock my the door. There was even a little sign that explained how to do it. Wasn’t much reason to lock the door after that.
@@aceclover758 I was happy to be going to a top tier college and it wasn’t a dorm. It was an apartment. The rent was $100/month and I never had a problem. Loved the place.
You must haven’t gotten a great deal or live in a lower income state to only be charged $100 per month for an apartment. Or someone gave you guys a sweet deal
One thing I really just bothers me is how all these creepy men try to go after this young women for no reason I get what they want but they know that they're not going to get it if they just do it in a creepy kidnapping way.
Why IN THE WORLD would she lead that guy straight to her apartment??? Another great video NTS! Thanks for the constant great content!
My advice to someone who does that is to never turn in your lights immediately. Then they’ll know where you live and which apartment is yours too!
Short college graduation horror story: After you graduated, you realized both your friends and your degree ain’t sh!t.
Aww the truth if this hit me like a ton of bricks 😂

Very smart move to go home when you know someone is actively following you

I always, always, ALWAYS have my door locked! Why is that such a difficult concept for some people?

These creeps really need to find another hobby other than following girls home. Anyway, good stories man
Mace or peper spray and a Swiss army knife are good tools to have and carry.

Thanks uploading today, it's nice to lay back and listen to your story's... I really look forward too them..
I do too
S1: you went to bed and you left your door UNLOCKED? Guess college can’t give you brains. Why anyone leaves their place unsecured is beyond me.
Love the video spooky
A lot of these stories could be prevented if people just lock their doors/windows 😤
Yeah, there’s a lot of dumb people writing these stories.

I would still lock my door tho. How often are fires gonna happen for people to use that access anyway
@@Owen004 Didn’t matter. It was easy access door locked or not, fire or not. Anybody who wanted in could get in as all that was needed was provided.

Why this guy’s videos get the least views? He’s definitely not suck at telling horror stories! I always blame RUclips’s stupid sensitivity.
