- During a tour of America in 2007 Barbara visited the studio of KCSM FM in San Mateo, California to visit with Pete Fallico and the station engineer Chris Cortez. I've had this footage for quite some time, but the audio and visual quality were marginal. I recently got some A.I. video restoration software and some new video editing software and I was actually quite amazed at the results of the audio and video.
Pete Fallico has probably done more for Hammond Jazz Organ than anyone, except the great musicians themselves. Pete was friends with so many of these legendary players, and did all he could to promote thier music.
On his website you can listen to his podcast with interviews with some fantastic Hammond players.

Barbara Dennerlein has been my favorite Hammond Organist for many years, probably since we lost the great Jimmy Smith.
I left the Bay Area in 1990 (after Loma Prieta, I had enough death and destruction.) But, I would have loved to come hear Barbara in my home town, maybe at the Douglas Beach House?
Barbara, if you're reading this, I love your smile, Babe. Please accept my sincere thanks for your great energy, generosity, and love for jazz.
About a dozen years ago I came home from work and wanted to hear the Hammond B3 so I got on youtube and discovered my favorite jazz organist Barbara Dennerlein. Now I discovered her interview on my favorite internet jazz station. Life is good!
Music is a great oasis, hard to beat that Hammond sound!
Dennerlein is a top gun.
The string sound great work ❤

Barbara and Daniel are incredible on stage together.
Dynamic Duo for sure ;-)
Interviewed this great jazzist!
Barbara Dennerlein is The G.O.A.T. of the B3!
For internattional fans🙂G.O.A.T. = Greatest of all time.
@@hans1970-- thanks Hans. Barbara is indeed, one of the all time greats -- a genius of the organ. I know the OP meant this as a compliment, but the use of today's crude slang is not always the best way to express oneself. 😉
