They CHANGED the lyrics????? I've never heard this version before! It sounds much better (lyrics-wise). Though I still like the older version.
The song has gone through many changes over time. Originally it was just the Dracula version that you hear James Barbour singing on the album. Then in the German production they merged Dracula's version of this song with A Perfect Life by Mina. Then at the Kelsey theatre production they changed it to the lyrics you are hearing in this video sung by Jonathan while Mina sings A Perfect Life. Then in the current licensed one they did a mix of all 3 called the Trio version.
I dont like Hasselhoff as an actor but he didnt do to bad in Jekyll and Hyde and he does have a nice voice other then that thats all i give him credit for

I know songs in which David sang pretty much higher than this (e.g. True Survivor). So he didn't NEED to drop a key. It's only another version of that song.
