WOW, what a great work you guys put out here! I find this video super helpful as I, too, compare the prices of each store to see where I can make every cent count. I mostly shop at AH for weekly groceries as it's the closest to my apartment. When I have to buy more meat than usual or need household items, I go to Lidl :)
this is very informative! please keep on making more videos❤
Love this!🥰👏🏽
Great episode, thanks for doing the shopping 🛒 effort! Next time do a guest visit to Cactus 🌵 in Luxembourg ;)
And a couple of observations. First, prices in Carrefour differ depending on the store type for some categories - e.g. in Hyper will be generally cheaper than in Market.
Cora, at least in my region, has really good prices for fresh meat, poultry and fish. But probably it's different in Brussels. Delhaize, on the other hand, has quite expensive meat and fish, but some good deals for some categories.
At the end, depending on the preferences, store proximity - you might end up doing groceries in different store brands, depending on what you buy.
Thank you so much this is very helpful!!!
Thanks so much for this, really helpful!! I am moving to Belgium in about 5 months to study, and I really need to know where to buy food and save some change! If not I'll be eating instant soup every day 🙃
You really went for the literally cheapest products, often the supermarkets' own "budget" brand. Most Belgians will go for their favorite products. You should check for instance how much the Nutella chocolate spread costs in each supermarket and if it is even available.
bruh what the heck why do you have so litlle subs you're editing is awsome
very helpul
Lidl has every week promo's on their app , so you can adjust your grocery shopping according to the promo's and save some more money
Hi am planning to take this as my preparation
Please do make some video of best areas for expat to live in and rental.
Very informative video!! thanks for the efforts :) perhaps you could add prices of red meats like veal etc. to better compare or more vegetables.
Please do more videos 👍👍
that is why aldi is the goat THE GOAT!!!
surprised about Carrefour, they're mostly considered mid-range, while Delhaize is thought of as the "expensive" one.
Delhaize is expensive if you go the little one but the big one are cheaper than Carrefour
Cora never seen that store in my Life we don't have Cora store in Flanders
They only exist in French speaking áreas( Brussels and Wallonia)
No wonder why my dad always go there
Colruyt se much better than other
