Thank you so much for this video. I am a blind artist and a few days ago my husband said that I should start a RUclips channel helping other blind artists. When I was told that I was going blind I struggled to keep doing art. Even though I have faith in God, my faith was at a all time low. I had faith in God but I had no faith in myself and my ability to keep being an artist. Thankfully I have an amazing support group who encouraged me to keep going. My husband told me that I should start a RUclips channel to share my story . How I went from being at my lowest to doing amazing artwork that I love. What if God made me for a time like this? I want to teach people how to have faith and not lose hope. Your video is confirmation that I should do this. I am not going to waste time. I am going to get started and learn things as I go. Thank you for making this video. It was extremely helpful.

Thank you for sharing your story Barbara. You are an inspiration and I am in awe. I agree with your husband that you should start a RUclips channel because you are needed here. Your story and your faith will change people’s lives. Please let me know when you start your channel because I want to support you. If you have instagram feel free to send me a message. Or, you can send me an email. I definitely want to stay in touch with you ✨💎🫶🏾

while watching your video i get goosebumps and tears of emotion and recognition. lately i notice my insecurity so clearly and sometimes i get tired of it. by starting a youtube channel i learned a lot and i have grown enormously. but the insecurity remains. it is nice that you talk about it so openly and speak encouraging words. i have always been someone who goes the other way than the rest of the people. i want to do things differently that is just my nature. but this takes a lot of research and time. i dont mind growing slowly but every now and then i want to throw in the towel but then i come across a video of you and i get courage again. thank you! ❤

I have no want or need to make a RUclips channel. Once upon a time I wanted to, but then the haters came hard and changed my mind very quickly. I still make my stuff, but not for the haters and the rest to pick apart and put down.

Distractions always seem to ruin any flow I might have been blessed to get in and flow isn’t all that common. Some people need space where no interruptions or distractions can evolve.. so I’m thinking just a small plate of nibble food, beverage and perfect temperature and light in a non claustrophobic and with toilet and sink. Far back away from house with all the temptations of tv, bed, books, food, chores dogs and cats. Oh and I hear a kid or two back there! That’s really tough! I could barely even read a couple pages or watch a whole show when I had kids.

Your transparency and your art sanctuary are far more inspirational to me, as an artist, than large, institutional spaces that don’t reflect our uniqueness. As a 71 year old, who only found my call to it 10 years ago, my desire is to reflect the beauty of God’s creation through it and share it with family and friends. Greetings! Yes, I still deal with imposter syndrome. I'm constantly working on it and I will say it's my biggest obstacle. I'm at a point where I have to reflect and examine the root cause of it whenever it shows up. I'm very intentional about it now and make sure to journal my thoughts. I'm getting better with identifying it and not letting it hold me back. I just push through it and know that it's not coming from my higher self. The more I see myself as being in service and on purpose, the better it gets. I also give imposter syndrome a name....I call mine "the gremlin" 😅
