@ Christian Poddy - I can answer this simply for you. Do you have any remembrance of never having existed? Of course not. Most assume that is the case from what we have been told and what we believe but we have no actual experience or remembrance of such. We, as Awareness, only have the experience of existence not non-existence. It is the body-mind that dies and of this we have proof. There is absolutely no proof that Consciousness "dies" and in fact every one of us has proof to the contrary as our own experience.
There is one basic question that the hard core mainstream scientific atheists are going to ask. Of course being a Sat guru myself I know the answer (seems to be so many these days). I just wish that our front runners like Eli and Gangaji would address it more. They say there is a substratum underlying consciousness existing beyond birth and after death. The objection is "how do you know that this consciousness will survive death and isn't just a partition you have created in your own brain"?
