Also, my hubby makes some yummy bacon wrapped carrots. We use Maple bacon, spiral wrap around the carrots, dust with brown sugar, grill on pit. Delish😋

    Just curious, how can you be sure that that food is really as the label says it is? Companies tend to lie on their labeling, so how do you really know?

    • @TheHappyHomestead
      @TheHappyHomestead  2 года назад +1

      I have done a lot of research on Azure Standard, and I trust them.

    How do you store the carrots?

    • @TheHappyHomestead
      @TheHappyHomestead  3 года назад

      In the summer, I store in our fridge in the garage....we got through them faster with recipes and making fermented carrots. In the winter, I make a makeshift root cellar with a 5 gallon bucket and garden soil to store in the garage.

    Their chicken seems expensive to me though

    • @TheHappyHomestead
      @TheHappyHomestead  3 года назад +1

      Yeah, it's certainly higher than conventional chicken. It's all about the quality on how it's raised too.
