So instead of having them wear skates and creating an awesome, fast paced, violent game they decided to give them bowling shoes so they look like a bunch of 3 year olds going out on the ice for the first time.

Well, the footage you see in the video is an event that was launched by the known german entertainer/comedian Stefan Raab who was working for a TV-Channel until 2015. It was a game in his game show "Schlag den Raab" ("Beat (the) Raab" translated: Participants try to defeat him in a number of different mini-games) but he liked it so much that he asked the Channel for permission for the event. So this is not performed as a serious sport as far as i know... it was just invented to be an entertaining TV-Show and all the players are celebrities. Stefan Raab also invented Shows such as: Car Soccer, Wok World Championship (sledging with a wok), Quizboxing and some more. Thus this is ridiculous on purpose.
As a soccer playing growing up, this is by far the funniest sport I have ever seen in my life. Watching the players try not to fall over, only to fall over, had me in tears
this isn't realy a sport but was a entertainment event from the company of the comedian Stefan Raab he also made up the Carfootball World Cup (2 cars against another in a soccer game) or the Wok World Cup (you sit in a wok and use it to sled as fast as possible down a olymic sledding track)

Back in the ancient days of cable TV, when I was just a lad, this is the kind of sport that ESPN would show just for the heck of it. That's how I first saw Australian rules football. Ninh Ly XD I dont think that gonna happen any time soon. Im not so much a fan of sports (Like playing football though) If we are talking about motor sports then that is an other case. But I wont be surprised if countries like Sweden or Finland do it
Quick question Ninh: In conventional soccer, it’s okay for the goalkeeper to momentarily leave the goalie box if it means blocking a shot, but the no-handling rules apply to the goalkeeper as well until he returns to the goalie box. Does that rule apply here?
The goalkeeper can leave the box as he pleases, but outside of the box he is not allowed to play the ball with the hands or arms. If he does the other team will be awarded a free kick and if it was deliberately he will either get a yellow card of if he stopped a goal chance by this he will get sent off (penalties are only awarded for fouls and handballs inside the box)
