I think nobody explains what this show is about because when you try to explain it, it doesn't do it justice. This show has SO MUCH HEART, it makes you cry multiple times (because of sadness and happiness), you really care for the characters, you laugh and you get really complex stories about complex people

A bit of 'background'..when NBC first got the rights in the US to show English Premiere League soccer, they wanted to create some hype. Jason Sudeikis had been on "Saturday Night Live", and was familiar to American audiences. Created a few promotional videos about a US "American football" coach taking a job as a manager on an EPL club. Can't recall all the specifics, but Jason and an old buddy of his he'd done improv with in Amsterdam (Brendan Hunt, who plays "Coach Beard"..Hunt fell in love with soccer in Amsterdam) ended up with a producer who said, "This could be a series!!" many years later on. It worked. Oh, you're in for an epic ride!

I’ve barely even begun and I can already feel the heart in this show! It’s so different from Schitt’s Creek but so similar in those ways for sure so I just know I’ll adore this! 🩶🩶
There’s a good reason Ted Lasso is still in Apple + top 3 streamed shows over a year after it’s finished. Jason Sudekis did SNL a for years. Has been in both Horrible Bosses films.
Your hair reminds me of the 1995 Pride and Prejudice adaptation. If you haven't seen it, please consider reacting to it! Not only is it my favorite adaptation of all time, but there's only one or two reactions to it on youtube, while there's dozens to the 2005 version, which I can't stand.
@@ryannrodkey5669 Cool! Btw, in case it wasn't clear, it's my favorite screen adaptation of any book, not just of Pride and Prejudice. The 1995 movie adaptation of Sense and Sensibility is also great, if you want a less intimidating introduction to Jane Austen than a six-hour mini-series.
