Books for Carter: My little girl loves the Sandra Boyton books, particularly the Pookie ones. Going on a Bear Hunt, Chicka Chicka Boom Boom & Hush Little Baby by Sylvia Long was my favorite when she was Carter's age.

Awe, good for you! All moms deserve to get pampered, and your mom taking care of you is extra sweet. What a gorgeous place of business your family has. If only I wasn't in Florida. Maybe when I get to California to visit family we could make a trip of it to go to the spa. Fingers crossed that will be this year. I totally see Ryan in Carter's face and expressions, but his does have your cheeks! Would love to learn more about you and Ryan as a couple, marriage life, balancing both of your families and balancing life and time with Carter between your extended families. So fun, and I'm glad you decided to keep vlogging, and how cool you met and made a good friend through it.

Beautiful house, inside and out. .......just like you! We moved into our house a year ago in January, and I hang my head in shame as I publicly admit that my decorating is not totally done. Although we moved here from an area we LOVED in Asheville, NC to care for sick parents, so decorating is the last thing on my mind, or list of things to do. They are both end stage and with hospice......so it's not only physically draining, but mentally as well.
My favorite books for my son were anything Dr. Seuss and The Berenstain Bears. Love them. You can find a Berenstain Bear book for any issue you are going through! Now, I LOVED the Little House on the Prairie books SO much that my best friend gave me the entire series one year for Xmas! (I think she was just tired of being humiliated by me checking them out at the library! !!!!!) As I only had a son, I ended up giving that series to my younger niece, and my Nancy Drew series to another niece. Great books!

The little boy I nanny for (also my boyfriend's nephew) is really into books right now, his favorites and mine are definately the Dr. Suess books! Are You My Mother is my favorite of those stories. When I was 4 I actually dressed up as the momma bird and had my parents take a picture! It brings back so many memories when I read it to him.
He actually turns one in 2 weeks! I will have to take him to that sculpture garden since they live not too far from that area. :)

The Love you Forever chokes me up every time when I've read it multiply times to my 4 children. I get so teary eyed and try to keep my eye balls open and not blink so no tears will come out. My kids wait for it and say it's okay Mom.
