Gday Steve, this looks to be a great unit, my first thought was to hang one light over the lathe, this would make a big difference in my shed, The price sounds alright as well, very affordable, thanks for sharing mate, Matty🇦🇺

Hello Steve, First, thank you for your video, it''s interesting. Secondly, I want to tell you about a problem I have with the lm-3606. It seems there is a bug because the four lights are flashing at the same time and nothing works connected to the battery. Do you know how can I repair it? I do not find any answers on Internet... Maybe you have a solution? Thank you for your answer
Hi Steph Thanks. That sounds terrible. Wondered why I hadn't seen your comments lately. I dread flooding as I lost my first home to a flood. I lived in a safe place for most of my life since then, but now we are living on a flood plain again. We have several flood warnings each year. Hope all goes well for you.
@@SteveJordan thanks Steve i live along the Ottawa river in province of Quebec this is not the first time i see this happening but this was the worst ever i saw was lucky to have my family to help me this was a nightmare water is slowly going down.
I've got one of these for lighting in my garage, which is a mile and a bit away and has no electricity. I've been able to work well into the night with it running, it's fantastic. I wasn't convinced the solar panel would handle being permanently outside in Welsh weather so I sealed it with silicone around the edges and then used stickyback plastic for covering books to help prevent any rain sitting on it. It's been working flat on my garage roof since February and the cable was easy enough to snake around the fascia, so it's not visible from the road at all. I'm planning on seeing if it will charge from the lighter socket in the car - with the engine running I get 14.2V which appears to be enough for the charging circuitry to use. If it is that'll help keep my coolbox nice and cold when pottering around on adventures! One last thing, the AC charging cable - yes, it's got a European plug on it which can't get plugged straight into the wall in the UK, but rather than chop it off and replace it you can use a shaver adaptor plug.
Looks good but I can't help thinking that the battery looks a bit on the small side, wouldn't you be better off with say a leisure battery from a motorhome? It would be nice if you can confirm that the run times they quote are actually correct, maybe a 'follow up' video after you've had to use this kit during the Winters months would be a good idea??
@@BeachsideHank Well I'm really pleased with it..I really can't fault it in any way. I only want it for what it says it can do and it does that perfectly. So much better and safer than using gas lamps etc for power outages and it would be fantastic for camping.

Bonjour de France, j'ai acheté un YOBOLife. pour le recharger avec le panneau solaire, est ce que je suis obligé de le brancher a la prise murale? Merci pour me guider. DjViktor.
Hi I really don't know how long one would work for. TV is if no interest to me so I didn't look into it. A TV or any other low voltage electrical device would just be connected as to power it up with an appropriate power plugs. Regards Steve
This one is only for the low powered LED 12v lights. It is not for powering mains but can be changed using the mains. I'm just about to review a set up with an inverter though with the mains connection.
Thanks for the video Steve. I'm getting a container for storage and this sounds ideal, reasonable price as well. Only problem is the link says "Shipping:(CN) This warehouse can not ship to your location." ?
Very informative. I bit on this exact set on eBay and I won.

Hi, may i know how long it takes to fully charge the battery just using the solar panel?

Rule of thumb for me is any Chinese output rating gets a .5 multiplier applied, ex. 1,000 Chinese watts x .5= 500 real watts. ☺
