I think what is coming - slowly - is a revolution in education. sites like udemy, lynda and cornerstone will increasingly cover advanced topics - and online education will become cheaper than and better than human education. Also - as the student loan crisis continues - there will be political pressure to eliminate student loan programs - leaving only basic Pell grants. And online education will be the option that will allow people to get educated. Also - education will become global. People 20 years old today will find that 20 years from now most courses have Indian instructors and Indian students. What's more pro-sumption than that?
