Everything beneath the shoulder line is hard plastic materials in this car ( centre console, gloves compartment, dashboard, pockets in doors, ... ) !
That's crazy for a car with that prize tag.

Dashboard is not plastic. The door cards are not plastic. For the center console, you can have another material if you do not prefer piano black. The only areas that are really plastic are by the knees which are areas you barely touch
@@SM-1010 I wrote " beneath the shoulder line " ...
So the upper part of the dashboard is soft touch like in any car above 20 k but not the middle and underpart of the dashboard. Same with the doors, upper part is soft further down it is hard.
So besides the appearance of the plastics and decor elements this $100.000 Mercedes does not have more plush, soft touch materials than a VW Golf in a base trim ...
@@mart_en The middle part by the window switches is soft touch. This is the same interior of the C class which I had for a loaner. The plastic hits below the silver window switch parts. You can see the red stitching near it (plastic does not have stitching).The areas above do not feel like any VW product-below, yes they do. But I also give props to Mercedes for metal speakers grills which are very nice for reference, Audi usually has they’re bang&olfusen in some form of plastic covering-just like what other brands do I.e. Mazda, Lexus, etc..

What is the different between hybrid & mild hybrid?
There are different Hybrid systems on the market, mild hybrid is usually referred to when the buffer battery is kinda small, Hybrid usually said when the system is more electrified / has a bigger battery.

I'm generally not a fan of Mercedes in red....but she is pretty. I do enjoy the Mercedes Benz Christmas TV ads, with Santa in the red "sleigh." Soft tops these days vs the hard top convertibles 🤔.

Lmao so true, the Audi A8 interior is full of piano black plastic, it must be easy for car makers to just fill the entire interior of their luxury with plastic and still sell it without reviewers calling them out much
it really is lacking on performance. Its comparable to the m4, which has a 3.4 0-60 while this has a 4s 0-60, almost like a m440xi
This isn't a fully blown AMG like the 63. It doesn't compete with the M4 at all which is a fully blown M car. This competes with the M440i

the 53 models (and previous 43) loo significantly better than the 63 models in my opinion because they are a bit more tame and the round tailpipes are so much better than the angular pipes of the 63
