I guess she's the only person in the world who doesn't have access to a computer and can't shop online from the comfort and privacy of her own home... or from the smart phone in her hand??? People are so DUMB and have ZERO common sense. They want this publicity to keep them relevant. She used to have 100 photogs on her 24/7 and now there are a handful that her publicist probably arranged to be there before she went. Here are some more dumb things her fans believe: -that she canceled her last tour bc of her father's health problems despite the fact that his father's issues happened months prior and he was 100% on the mend. (Her ticket sales were lagging, having not sold out after three weeks on sale--she was only playing in a 5200 seat theater!!) -that she sings live... ever... or without a backing track. (there are leaks of her real vocals and she sounds like a dying cat) -that her voice is actually audible on any of her albums when it's actually a compilation of "backup vocalists" (FYI Britney is also named as a background vocalist--along with twenty others who mostly sound exactly like what people believe is Britney's "baby voice") in the credits on her own albums.... yeah, that's normal!) -Britney writes music herself. (She's paid to put her name on things to give her some credibility as an actual artist. In reality, the writers don't care bc anything with her name on it sells to her dumb fan base so they stand to make a fortune themselves.) -Britney is a pianist. (In concert she sits at a piano, then stands up and it continues to play! Either preprogrammed piano or 100% backing tape bc there is no audible difference.) -Britney has creative control over her shows, her album releases, her own image. Even before her conservatorship she had control over nothing. Sound engineers created her entire sound, teams created her music from start to finish and she only played a bit part in the studio, showing up for appearances. There were set designers, costume designers, lighting designers and beauticians all responsible for every on stage visual effect. She didn't even have to do a sound check bc she doesn't sing... just show up for costume fittings. -That she's so rich she will never have to work again. (She seems to have paid off a lot of lawsuits, because somewhere along the line some $200M of her earnings seems to have vanished.) -That because she's a pop icon she can do whatever she wants and companies will line up to hand her new endorsement deals. (She's getting on in years and like it or not, her primary claim to fame is as a sex symbol. She's struggled like all teen stars to transform into an adult gracefully under the spotlight and it hasn't gone well for her. Her mental health issues have made her a huge liability for her label and any possible endorsements plus her age is beginning to "price her out of the game" for the type of sponsors that wanted her before... those aimed at teens. She's up against the clock as far as touring goes. How do you explain lip syncing when you no longer put on a high energy show? That's why her ticket sales are waning. They may try to recreate her, but I wouldn't count on it being anything like Madonna.... she was always a bit of a mystery persona and left people intrigued, whereas everything about Britney has already been front page news for the world to see.) -She cares about her stans and not just the money they give her.
