Looks like lambo is surprise how can the z tune be so fast after all these years. The Japanese can build cars faster than the Europeans anytime if they want to. But Japanese focus on balance and building practical race car that can use daily also reliable. Unlike the Europeans that are obsesses with being the fastest and throw tons of Horsepower into the car that make the car go as fast as possible in a straight line. Plus a unbeatable price tag since they always think themselves are superior.

FYI That R34 GTR has had 100k-200k or more spent on it. I truly don’t think people know just how expensive it is to modify an R34 GTR to this standard. 150k for the car + 100k-200k for mods.

Why do you think it’s AWD system kicks the ass of other JDM’s and Supercars. That is what matters, putting the power to the pavement with limited wheel spin or better traction. The parts cost to do that on supercar like level are made from expensive companies and is the driving factor and from NISMO itself. This ain’t a supra where they are cheap to modify. Even look up how much a HKS 2.8L stroker engine costs. That alone with nothing else added to the car is a $50k engine package. Then look into how much NISMO R-TUNE packages are worth. GTR’s are the most expensive car to modify that’s ever come out of Japan. But it is also the greatest JDM car ever, and Nissan’s engineering marvel (at the time of release). The F&F franchise had to fight tooth and nail to justify the cost to studio executives and that was in the early 2000’s. Craig Lieberman the car director even said the R34 wouldn’t be used again if the movie was made again today purely because of the cars cost and parts cost. Own a GTR and you will realise that what you want to do to it will cost over $100k and then some. They are money pits, precision engineering money pits that’s why so many people who a earn a shit tonne selling drugs especially in Australia (wogs) have them. The everyday JDM lover doesn’t have that sort of money to spend on a vehicle.
People who say it it's cheaper then an aventador, please stop, it's not anything that makes sense, first of all the builds you will put in to get to race an aventador would get it in the price range or maybe in the cade of this one, as much as 2 aventadors, second, the price goes on the materials as well, the aventador is much more luxurious when it comes to comparing it with a skyline, you can't be sitting in leather seats with a screen for a speedometre/odometer etc, the skyline is pure stripped, it's completely stripped to be light, it is raw power, and last of all, the brand, Nissan is much older then lamborghini at a 30 yr gap, yet if you will see, kids as young as 5 yrs old or maybe even 4, could recognize the car, the same couldn't be said for the skyline, it is only appealing when you are in a later stage of life, so there are points to make that claim invalid, apart from that the skyline is a wonderful car

Since I catch a glimpse of red seats, I am expecting it is a real Z-tune. Z-Tune came from factory with 500hp Z2 rb28. It came from factory with IHI turbo, Gt crankshaft, block, connecting rods etc. So idk wym by 100k-200k spent on it.
That's cause it is far of, you will hear a high frequency of its v12 from far, and yes it is that fast, 217 miles per hour is no joke, one mishandling could turn the car to rubble and you go up....
A lot of people have no clue but there is a RB20, RB24, RB25,RB26,Rb28 and a RB30... The RB25, RB26 and RB28 are identical minus bore/Stroke... At the end if the day a RB28 is a RB28 as is a RB28 a RB26... Fantastic engine and totally capable of handling 600 wheel HP and being reliable... The RB can make 1000+ no problems but if you build a RB26 to above about 650 wheel you will have reliability issues. I know I'm gonna catch hate for that but it's just the way it is... Build ya a 600 wheel HP RB26 and do it with good parts and a clean tune and you can daily drive it no problems, 700 wheel RB and you will start having failures... Mainly one in specific and that's getting oil to the top of the engine at high rpm when your making big power with big boost pressures... That is the sore spot when you build a RB25/26/28 to 700+... Its one of the best 500 to 550hp engines you can build and 500 is possible with good reliability on the stock bottom end... Fully built 650 is the absolute limit if you don't want a car that you will have failures on consistantly... That's exactly why the Z tune was tuned to make about 500hp, the build they used would make 700+ if they tuned it to make that power but it would be a nightmare so they over built it to make 500 and it will do that with complete reliability .

Meaning only 17 were sold to public. Now, this is all based off googling shit and reading articles. We don't KNOW how many were really made, can only go off of what we are told. Oh and can everyone stop calling it a RB26. Cause its really not, again, just google Z-TUNE. Its a RB28DETT, which yes, is just a 2.8L stroker kit with bigger turbos.
