Yeah. I remember coming back here as a kid with skippy casting naked jig heads with a live killie and getting smashed on like every cast. God rest his soul.
@@FishingLongIsland Skippy was an extremely nice guy. He gave me his personal recipe for pickled herring. I cannot locate it now, but it was fun taking kids to Magnolia Pier catching their first fish. I had a slip at All Island Marine and fished while docked both day and night. Wishing you continued success and subscribed so I don't miss memories from the past. Be well.
Thank you. I grew up in that shop. Skipping would give me a bag of spearing and a bamboo pole and I would walk across the street to that piece of land over there and catch snappers all day. There was no video games or anything of that sort. It was just my BMX bike with a piece of PVC to hold the fishing rod.
There was 6 boats there. Do you really think that spot is not known? 99% of the viewers will not know where that is. Plus only certain boats can really fish it back there. Such as yours or mine. I don’t think you will see 25’ plus boats back there. Sorry Ed but I do not feel the spot is ruined
Nice job boys !
Thank you 🙏🏼
Great to see the old stomping grounds are still producing.

Can you tell me about the rod and reel setup you use?
Daiwa ballistic LT 2500 reel, 10 pound braid, old Shimano rod
What brand bucktails do you use?
They are just simple ball head bucktails in 1/2 & 3/4 oz by reaper bucktails.
