Hi again, Question:In your opinion, what are the best closed backs for mixing and studio recording that could run on a travel amp? Thanks, great presentation!
If I'm mixing I want the flattest sounding headphone I can find. On the road I used IEMs-- the UERM monitors. They are nearly dead flat. For an over-ear I'd probably choose the Neumann NDH-20. I've mixed with those before. You want something that doesn't color the sound at all.
HI I have the E3 and love them. I've gone through quite a few others, looking for something that does amazing Soundtracks and Huge Classical pieces. Would you recommend the 1266 Phi TC or the Elite or LCD 4 since they were at the top of your shootout? Thank you in advance. Oh I love the WA 11 for a portable solution for the E3.
Wow, great review. I use an MM500 for mixing straight out of a Macbook Pro; they're great, even without a pre amp. I'd like to add a pair of closed backs for mixing and recording vocals. Q1] Would E3 and MM500 be a good pairing? Q2] Also, could you suggest an ideal portable pre amp for travel which would enhance? Thanks for any response, Cheers from Vancouver!
You managed to find a way to make the show even wackier. The intro songs match your energy. I hope the Noble package is either the Triumph or the Apollo. I've had the Triumph for a couple weeks now and it's great. The Apollo has some praise floating around for it too.
you still have your Expanse!! you need to sell those bad boys. I appreciate DCAs efforts, but I just have never been impressed with any of their products. Sort of a wonky sound signature.
The pads are taped in, very strong tape. Would love to see a comparison with the Meze Liric.
With caldera closed xD aint giving e3 much chances
Great review!
Awesome work as usual Michael, keep it up!
The music is 10/10

Our current favorite portable amp right now is the Ray Samuels Audio Intruder. It has enough power to drive the Susvara or Tungsten.
@@DirectorsGarage Do you think it could handle DCZ E3 or Audeze MM500's?
@@jamesewanchook2276 Without question. I think it puts out 12W. Insane power. More than many desktop amps.
@@DirectorsGarage not available in Canada, Do you have a second pick? Thanks Director.
@@jamesewanchook2276 Write Ray at rsaudio@raysamuelsaudio.com -- he'll hook you up. Or the Enleum 23-RM
I 100% agree with you. E3 is the best DCA headphone.

Get yourself either an Xduoo XD05 Pro or a FiiO Q7 if you want to use them for travel.
The FiiO M17 should power the DCA E3 from battery. I'll know in a couple of weeks.
Thanks for the review. The songs are produced by ai ?
Ohh my!!!! Who sang that song is the beginning?
a computer

You're gonna look back in a few months and regret all the AI music, Michael. :)
