Awesome review! My fave kit is the Kotobukiya Baihu Frame Arms girl FG015. I customized mine into Boba Fett colors and added a skirt and some Mandalorian decals .
Honesty the AUV Susanoo has to be my favorite, pretty much everything from the design and colors, the build, to the options. Was probably the kit I anticipated the most after seeing the prototypes a few years back.
That said shout out to the humble gourai as well, not the best kit in the world but still solid enough, the type 10 version was my first mecha musume kit and got me into the hobby.
my favorite mecha musume kit from kotobukiya would be the Frame Arms Girl Durga I, she is the most gorgeous looking mecha musume kit I've ever built, and she also gave off the rich ojou-sama aura.
btw you could also get a pair of those holding hands(flesh color) in 8:28 from Frame Arms Girl Hresvelgr Ater Summer Vacation Ver. kit, but they're there for different purpose, lol

The Kojima Productions Ludens white ver. will forever be my favorite of all the mecha musume stuff by kotobukiya. Sad that I accidently damaged mine and buying a new one is just hell, finding a white ver in my country is like looking for a needle in a haystack.
Dude same! It’s almost impossible to find the white version where I am too. Its really a shame that they made this a limited line. I’m looking to get my hand on the black ver to do some funky colors but now the only ones I can find are 2x the original price.
I've seen the black ver in stock since last year in Hobby Search for a fair price (of course shipping depends on your country)

Asra Tamamonomae is my favourite kit I'm still working on! Love the variety of parts, both weapons and body parts. Also I got it preordered so I got some extra blank faces and different hair colour!
The large amount of runners and decals is amazing. And no color innaccuracies! Currently working on the armoured version of her!
What I particularly liked about this kit was how smooth the pieces snapped together.
This looks amazing actually! "Megami Device Auv Susanowo Souen Model Kit". The clear plastic looks like the SD Samurai Gundams. Thanks for reviewing these kits. Biased given I built it recently, but I really like the AUV Susanowo kit. Just the sheer amount of options she has for display is both amazing and a little overwhelming. Almost need two of her.
I love the Executioner Bride. It was a really fun build and I just can't get enough of the faces.

Awesome vid, the kit looks really nice! My girlfriend really liked the wings in particular.
The Asra Nine Tails is my favorite, no doubt; easily one of the most visually dynamic kits in the Megami line, and the different ways you can assemble the armor make it a fun display piece as well.
in my opinon the frame arms girl are my favorite mecha musume line because how they mix both humans and mecha in a model kit, I love the first one i got with was the gourai i like it because it simply and a great kit to pose the weapons are great too i like the gourai because it simply.
My favorite (so far!) is the frame arms girl durga I kit! The placement of the red translucent components in the purple make for an amzing color combo. Very excited about Lumita as well! will definitely be buying if I don't win!

my favorite as well as the only Kotobukiya mecha musume kit I’ve built is the Ludens black ver. I bought it at a hobby shop in little Tokyo my close friend took me to on my 20th birthday. I didn’t get around to building it until quite a while after getting it. The design is simply awesome. Love the adaptation of the Kojima mascot into the Kotobukiya anime style. Probably one of the most fun kits I’ve built to date.
Great review! She is definitely a big step forward for Koto. I think my fav Koto MM kit right now is the new Baselard FAGirls/Megami Device collab. Pretty much just because I love Baselard.
Favorite koto musume kit has to be susanowo. Love the design and amount of ways you can display her with all the transformations still feeling intentional and not like afterthoughts.
My favorite and the first Kotobukiya girl I got was Ritsuka from SST line.
The amazing art of En Morikura, the elegant design and the cheerful expressions are second to none.
To this day she's the only kit on my desk (the rest are on display shelves), sitting cross-legged on top of my PC.
the white kojima ludens it's really the one that i would diplay in my house, simple yet beautiful
My favorite is the Asra Tamamono Mae I just love every aspect of its aesthetic, the color scheme, it has loads of different weapons and modes to display it. I'm never bored messing w that kit I love it.
I don't build frame arm girls so I don't have a favorite yet... but this kit really catch my attentions so I got to say this Arca Nadea has to be IT! 😍

This model Lumitea is by far my favorite. The posable feathered wings have been executed amazingly. The character they come with are a definite plus especially with the costume/armor design and colors. This kit has inspired me to take up model kits again and has also inspired me to take up making custom kitbashing/customs of characters I love such as Angewomon, Lucemon, Sirene, Ryo - Satan mode, etc. Thanks for the great video. Your coverage sealed my fate in kitting again. Going to get my Godhand out in the open where it belongs.
I enjoyed the Megami Device Bullet Knights Executioner Bride because of its solid simplicity. I like where they are going with the series and I want to thank you for your informed video review of Lumitea.
My favorite for sure is the Greifen! The exo-suit totally sells it for me. And the girl totally looks the most unique amongst the other offerings~
My favorite is Asra Nine-Tails, it was my first mecha musume kit that got me started down the line to build these beautiful ladies. Another line from Kotobukiya that are a fun build are the Tank Nacchin. They make great sidekicks for the mecha musume ladies.
My favorite mechamusume from Koto is BULLET KNIGHTS LAUNCHER! Angel, onegai!

I know a lot of people have said it already but the AUV Susanowo has become my favorite mexha musume kit. For something so complex looking koto handled her details masterfully. Definitely looking forward to the Souen version
Great review as usual, Zack. Definitely like the Sol Strike Raptor the most in terms of overall design and color for an individual kit, though the combination forms of Asra Archer/Ninja and Sol Road Runner/Hornet are also really cool.
Absolutely GREAT review!!! I was really looking forward to the Megami Device Wism Soldier Snipe/Grapple, but after seeing this review and the detail I have to admit that Lumitea is crushing that kit. Lately I haven't been able to work on my backlog but my favorite kit from Kotobukiya would probably have to be one of the kits that started Megami Device, WISM Snipe / Grapple. I know the plastic and articulation is outdated, but the number of fun accessories and option parts that it comes with really allowed the line to hit the ground running. Edelweiss is a close second, but honestly the whole line has SO MANY good entries.
Lumitea has been on my list for a while but everywhere else was sold out of her. If I had the budget I'd pick her up ASAP, but instead I'll enter the giveaway and see what happens. Great work once again Zaku
I really love the C&P little red!! I just think she's such a little darling & a very cute mix of fairy tale + mecha & she reminds me of a smaller (cuter!) version of asra nine tails ♡ the C&P magical girl is also up there just for all the accessories she comes with, i think the whole little line is very charming though, very cute builds
& tysm for showing off Lumitea, I've adored her ever since I first saw her, I love love love angel/angel-themed characters and just think she is one of the prettiest kits, she's very lovely ♡
The Kojima Productions Ludens kit is a thing of exceptional beauty
I've always loved the Barbatos Lupus as it is the first kit I build during the pandemic. Lumetea is such an angel.
Definitely the Ludens for me. Fantastic parts separation and very clean molded details. In my opinion it feels like Kotobukiya really brought their A-game with that one and have been really great with intricate surface detail ever since.
Every time I build one I have a new favorite. That said, I find myself always going back to the classic WISM Snipe/Grapple.
I built the skylet. Always loved the minigun and autocannon she had. Was a fun kit and my introduction to the mecha girl kits like that.
Megami Device Chaos & Pretty Little Red is the one I'm working on. Gotta say is a nice take on the little riding hood design. Along with its wolf armor. Great review and would love to add this kit to the collection 😉
My favourite is definitely AUV Susanoo from the Megami Device series. Absolutely love the design, it's such a beautiful kit even straight out of the box.
The Asra Pair both Ninja and Archer still hold up and aging gracefully interm of design. I got quite a few from various company but i still think these 2 look the best
There have been a lot of over the top mecha musume kits recently, but I'm still quite sentimental about the first SOL road runner kit since it was my first koto kit. Great video, I've been seeing this kit make the rounds, but there wasn't an English review when I first saw it, so this was p informative
I've heard quite a bit of praise for the Lumitea kit, she looks wonderful! As for my favorite Kotobukiya kit, I'd say it's the Frame Arms Girl Laetitia. The adorable facial expressions and plethora of hair and ear customization options really stood out to me~
Frame Arms Girl Baihu is currently my favorite, but I am looking forward to the Arnval kit coming near the tail end this year. The design perfectly translates Yoji Shinkawa's cool frame arms mechsuit into a mecha musume. Wished that more tomboyish detail were done instead of the stray bows around the thigh armor, but with everything else in this frame arms conversion done so perfectly, I can't complain.
Sitara Kaneshiya is my favorite *girl* that Koto has produced (although technically she's a character from a mobile game, so I dunno if that really counts); however, of all the Koto mecha musume kits that I've built (read: a *LOT*), the best one by a long shot would have to be the Megami Device Susano'o. They just took everything to 11 for that kit. It's the closest they've come to a "perfect grade" allegory (since their kits don't incorporate LEDs). And the new blue version coming next year is going to be even more extra; glad I got my order in for that.
Honestly, though, a really close 2nd place for my favorite kit would go to the Chaos & Pretty Witch Darkness version. Great design, fun to build, tons of options for posing.
The Arca Nadea line isn't particularly my aesthetic, since it's more "fantasy" than "sci-fi", which is how I'd qualify a "mecha musume" kit. Lumitea herself initially didn't impress me, but after seeing this review, I may change my mind on that; and I absolutely would take a free one. Their next one, Velretta, on the other hand, was much more to my liking, and I got her on preorder almost immediately.
Megami device asra ninja/archer is definitely one of the best mecha musume kits imo. The design and playability are just almost perfection, nothing's lacking, no unecessarily oversized weapons. I'm glad that asra ninja is my first taste of this bishoujo model kit fever.
My favorite kit from Kotobukiya is the Frame Arms Girl Greifen, which is actually the first model I ever built.

The MD Asra nine tails is the best-looking MD kit. what I really like about it is the many ways you can customize its look with all of its accessories
my fav from koto is still the megami device exorcist. All the faces from that kit is full of emotions, i got this roger rabbit effect on me as if I'm holding those 2D illustrated images on my hands. Also I am super pumped for lumitea, even more so looking at your review! Its just hard to find here and even if its available, the price is super high😅 anyway good vid as always!
I actually preordered this kit around late April and it will be my first ever kit from Kotobukiya, and the Arca Nadea Lumitea is also my favorite because it looks so simple but got lots of nice details and looks beautiful to me personally compared to the other lines from Kotobukiya, I usually don't care much about how many option parts that the kit comes with, because when I put them on the shelves i rarely switch their accessories

My favorite mecha musume is definitely hands down, the auv susanowo because of how edgy yet sophisticated it looks in a way 😩! Also the different forms it has is too cool.
I've never built anything from Kotobukiya before. They all look really nice and not too difficult to assemble. I would love to be able to build any of the various kits someday.

Of the ones I have built, my favorite mecha musume kit from kotobukiya is still the first one I built despite it not being the most impressive kit immaginable haha: "frame arms girl baihu".
This kit looks goshdarn gorgeous :0 Love how different the proportions are compared to the other musume kits from kotobukiya.
Big fan of the MD Sol Raptor though I've never built a Kotobukiya kit before so it's really just based on its look. Also looking forward to the Megami device Eva 01 whenever that comes out.
I’d have to say the sol strike raptor! Even though she’s a bit of an older kit, she still holds a special place with all of those beautiful plane-like panels and adorable face plates, but all of the arcanadea and MD kits are amazing across the board!
Just bought the Bullet Knights Exorcist Widow as my first Kotobukiya kit. So far it looks excellent and is my current favorite

I don't have much experience with MD kits but I recently picked up, but have yet to build, the Susanowo and Tamamonomae kits. The Tama kit in particular suits my interests haha. As for Koto kits in general my most recent favorite build has got to be the Nier Automata Flight Unit. Loved that one but I'm a huge fanboy for the game as well.
I love the Frame Arms Girl Hresvelgr and Megami Device Asra Ninjya, they are absolutely gorgeous looking kits. I love the amount of details that Kotokukiya puts on their kits

The asra tamamonomae really hits it for me. I know theres a ton going on, but the colors scheme and overall fox/japanese priest aesthetic really clicks that part of my brain that goes... ooooooh
I haven't had the chance to build one yet but I love the attention to detail in them I'd love to build one eventually

I love the magatsuki kikka - it's a fun build and I think it looks the best out of the Frame Arms Girls, with or without armor; it's almost like a figure rather than a model.
I've built the Megami Device Asra Tamamonomae a few months back and really enjoyed the finished kit, even though I do think it's not really beginner friendly as a lot of the parts are fragile and actually did broke on me. Still, really love the kit and really hope to get another MD kit soon.
Very cool kit, as for my favorite mecha musume kit, it is the Frame Arms Girl Shiki Rokkaku! I like the colors and the weapon very much!
I haven't built a Mecha Musume kit before, the one I think looks coolest is the Megami Device Chaos and Pretty Little Red Kit!

I've only recently gotten into the mecha musume side of kit building, and I've only made one koto kit so far. So my favorite one is currently the Bullet Knights Executioner Bride. I love the quirky expressions she has, and I'm always a sucker for giant swords haha!
This kit looks awesome! Fairly new to building models, and Asra Nine-Tails is the only Kotobukiya kit I've done so far (started with 30 Minute Sisters and Cyber Forest girls) Planning on Asra Ninja soon :D
I've only built 2 mecha musume kits so far, an Asra Ninja Shadow and a Tamamonomae, and I have a Susanowo sitting in my backlog. The Tamamonomae is definitely my favorite so far with her color scheme, expressive faces, and the endless options to build and customize her out of the box.
Awesome display; mine would have to be the Handscale Gourai with Jinrai Armor. I really like and hope to see more of these combinations.

My favorite that I have and built is the Megami Device Hunter type Edelweiss. She is a really nice looking kit and the weapons she comes with the swords and the axe rifle really hit the fantasy RPG games of the 90's for me.
My top favorite in Koto's mechamusume kits is the MD Baselard Animation ver. I really love Baselard and the Animation version perfectly captures her bubbly and cute personality.
Another count for the exorcist widow. I love the theme of nun with huge cross cannon. She's got great mixing potentials with the MSGs included, along with the updated 2.0 bottom.
As for Lumitea, it's rare to see reviewers from all languages to unanimously give praises and call it the best Koto girlpla kit to date. Kotobukiya really stroked it out of the park with the Arcanadea line, really looking forward to the other 3 too.
My most favorite got to be the Ludens girl. Had a blast building and painting her. The design translated from the original Ludens works so well. The texture of the plastic are quite neat as well. Thinking of getting my hands Don the black version. Other than that the most recent Auv Susanowo looks amazing! It’s a shame I wasn’t able to pre-order it. And right now the reseller are hiking the prize so high it’s out of my reach.
my favorite so far is the frame arms girl shadow tiger. to be honest its my 1st one, ive been building gunpla for the past few years and decided to change it up. your reviews led me to buying the kotobukiya frame arms girl
My favorite? Megami Device’s Chaos and Pretty duo (Magical Girl and Witch - OG and Darkness versions alike). What i love about those kits are the effect parts and variety of pieces in their kits to mix and match them into anything really~
That and it’s always been my dream to get Lumitea. She’s so pretty and very posable model kit~ she’s a must have, especially pairing her up with the upcoming Velretta :3
My favorite mecha musume kit would probably be the FAG Hresvelgr Alter. Kotobukiya's FAG line's design is kinda suits my taste but pretty expensive imo, after watching your review and find out about this new series, it actually impressed me a lots and become one of my favorite mecha musume lines.
This kit looks awesome! Ive only built one kotobukiya kit and that was the Asra Archer. So I have not built enough to have a favorite.
Honestly, my favorite is the Megami Device AUV Susanowo, hands down best mecha musume out thus far. I thought it was a great kit from the moment promo/demo images came out, but unfortunately missed the PO and had to get it from a third hand seller, which was really worth it though as I enjoyed every aspect of the build. In fact, I felt the build, overall appearance, body type and details, were really unique when compared to the mecha musume kits that have been out for some time now like those in the Frame Arms Girl line. Actually, because of this same reason, I think Lumitea might become my second favorite, from what I've seen in this review, once I build one!
The upcoming Auv Susanowo Souen is probably my fav to these day. The color works so well with the weapons and the new effect parts.
My favorite kit from the Megami Device line is AUV Susanowo. I like the color scheme and characters with eye patches, that always makes them cooler.
Even though she doesn't have the greatest weapon options, the Megami Device Auv Susanowo kit is one of my favorites from Kotobukiya. There are some mecha musumes that I prefer that aren't Kotobukiya, but I just love the styling of the Auv Sawano kit and she just has some amazing mechanical detail and clear parts and the color scheme just pops on my white shelves.

I’m pretty happy with the Archer/Shinobi kits from the Megami Device series of kits. I love Nidy’s art so having it in kit form is even better.

Ritsuka Saeki from the Sousai Shojo Teien line is my fav, mainly because it was the first Kotobukiya kit I ever build but also because I enjoy the slice of life anime vibes the kit gives off. I really dig the Valkaryie look of this kit. It kinda reminds me of Kid Icarus.
Absolutely in love with the designs of these kits and would love to get started with the line. Right now my favorite is still the Asra Tamamonomae which is still the kit on display next to my PC.
My favorite has to be the bullet knight lancer. It's kinda plain, but I really dig the black and white color scheme. It's also really funny that they include a spoon and fork with the kit.
The only Koto kits I’ve built have been Armored Core kits, but these Mecha Musume kits look really nice. Sophia Katakura LBCS: The Emperor is probably the coolest looking one I’ve seen, so I’ll put that down as my favorite. :)

Bullet Knights Exorcist Widow is probably my favorite from the mecha musume kits I'm working on. But if we can count ones I don't have yet, the Lumitea one looks amazing and probably the best one I've seen yet. There's some modifications out there with people adding an extra pair of wings which looks absolutely amazing (and I think I saw a dark angel re-paint).
