You don't know how much I want these cards!!! I know I know, I missed the deadline, pls though, I really would love a deck, I recently started magic andcardistry and am so Inspired by you!!!
I just did it! \o/ *small hands club* The part to mind is how the middle finger and thumb clamp onto the packet: he is holding the top of the packet with not his fingertips but the 2nd phalanges, and you can see his middle finger clamping down onto the packet while he pulls the card out and around. The thing is that the thumb can also clamp up from below. Basically if your fingers and thumb are parallel, pressure is applied evenly across the thickness of the packet, locking everything between your fleshy bits. By curling your fingers and clamping, you maintain the packet firmly from the front, while also releasing just enough pressure at the back of the packet to slide out one card. Once the ring finger's got the card, moving it around to the front feels just natural. ^^ Hope this helps! (well I guess you got it after all this time, but maybe somebody else didn't :p)
I just bought like 6/7 really nice decks of cards and I'm so stoked after discovering your channel Chris. You make me want to be the best cardist. Just hoping to be on your level someday at the least 🙏🏼
Compliments from Germany: Richtig schöner flourishe. Das was du machst ist Kunst ist halt Cardistry. dein skill flasht mich immer wieder. P.s. Dein skill flasht mich immer wieder. Have a nice day
Card is try can be frustrating but just remember to always practice and one thing that has helped me what loosening my grip a lot of people thing to hold the deck tighter to get “better control” but it’s a hindrance to your dexterity in all moves remember to be general and practice and you will see huge changes! Good luck everyone and thank you Chris!
@@EndingTimes0 I managed to do it with dry hands-though I was starting to fear that all the friction from trying was going to cause a callus, lol It's less about the texture of the ring finger, than about the pressure exerted by the top fingers and the thumb. You wanna curl your fingers so they clamp the front of the packet while releasing some pressure at the back to slide that one card out ;)
Just a tip guys :) if you cant use your ring finger to push the top card, you can use your index finger instead to push it forward while you use your middle finger to hold the cards instead then you can proceed to the fan :)
Literaly stuck to your channel now after work everynight all the way from rugby town, england keep up the wkd vids dude im learning loads... ✌👌👍

Hi. I just started my interest for cardistry and card decks. The problem is that I have no clue I’m what to buy, there are so many decks. Can you please do a video on what card decks that are out there are good. You don’t need to go super in depth on every deck then but just so that I can get an idea in what to look for.

"all your ring finger is gonna do is curl this card around the deck"
seems simple enough...
*throws deck across the room*
I just did it! \o/ *small hands club*

Love the Bay throw blanket!🤣👍
Padding on the ring finger? I can't grip the card at all with the outside of my finger
might IKR
Coth Video that’s actually depending on the moisture or the pressure either one it’s just about the getting used to
My hands are too dry or something. Won't grip the card at all with the back of my finger.
Squid Master try using lotion or the saliva technique or basically experiment with it (be patient)
