You got to love how they evolve through the years. Don't get me wrong, I also love their earlier versions, it's like each versions of them are perfectly fits in circa when its included.
It's official, I can't wait any longer for this song, it seemns soft and strong at the same time!!! I'm so excited to hear and read Mami's lyrics, the instrumental sounds really good 🤩 Also can't wait to see this live, as Tomo said, they're a live band, one of my favorite things about them, because they sound even better playing and singing live!!! Rina at the end seems to be very emotional, the way she talks about Haru and Mami is beautiful, Rina admires her bandmates a lot, this has always been clear! she's right, Haruna is great as a lead vocalist, but she knows how to harmonize so well with the other members, and Mami has her unique way of singing and interpreting the songs! My babes, they are all incredible!!! Truly artists, thanks a lot Scandal staff, and thank you for the legends, it means a lot 🙏😊💕💕💕💕
I think Rina has always looked up to Haru as an elder sister. Remember, she was 15 when she joined the other girls. They have spent the better part of half of their lives together and have gone from being poor garage musicians to fame and fortune. I wish them 15 more years together, if that is what they want. A more unlikely success story is hard to imagine. I saw them in Shiroten all those years ago...and, they were not too good, but there was something about them that made me tell my friends that there was just something about them that told me they were going to make it. Osaka-jo proved that true...and the rest is music history. SCANDAL and BAND-MAID are my two favorite bands...nothing was handed to either band; they worked their plan and made music and magic.
@@ShikataGaNai100 During one of her blogs Rina said after they signed with EPIC (early 2008) she and Haruna moved to Tokyo and shared an apartment together, so for that 9 months or so Haruna was basically Rina's legal guardian, and that time alone together surely had a deep impact on their relationship.
@@ShikataGaNai100 Yeahh it's true!!! it must' have been amazing to have followed them from the beginning, what a unique opportunity!!! they really improved so much, and what amazes me is that they are self-taught, and even if they are 15 years in the band, playing an instrument, to reach their level is a lot of training and dedication, this is much better than having "only" talent, they inspire me a lot, I started playing guitar because of them and now I want to learn drums, and whenever I think about giving up I come back because I use them as an example of persistence!! 🤩 many people are inspired by them, right? 🙏 I also love BAND MAID, they are amazing and their technique is another level isn't it?? I also really like Wagakki Band!!! Japan has very amazing bands and artists!! 🤩👌🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
I promised myself a day off to watch all these mini docs in a row, with no interruptions. - So glad I did. - This one especially, since 'Ivory' Broke New Gate for me, and I fall in love with Scandal's music and these ladies at that point. - Still making up for lost time, but loving every minute. Recording this song looked like a lot of hard work, but it paid off. Different, but so very much of the Scandal family of songs. - Long may Mami get her inspiration in the bath! - - Great that they added a bath in the MV. - Nice nod to its origins! Bless you Scandal. - keep rocking!

From the extracts we were able to hear, to me the song sounds cute and fresh. It really fits the comforting atmosphere SCANDAL is aiming, as artistes and people. Can't wait to hear it full !
I watched a reaction vid earlier today of a different song, but one of the things the reactors pointed out is with having their own production company now they can record what they want, how they want, and how they want it to sound without having to answer to another record company. They have their own team, and they discuss things amongst themselves to come up with a product they're happy with. Congrats to them for taking the reins on their music for themselves.
@@ShikataGaNai100 - MAMI has a brown sunburst Jazzmaster that looks just like this one that she has been using since 2011. It most likely is the one that HARU is using in this video.
I was surprised that the tuning seems to be done by third parties. That's understandable at live gigs when multiple guitars are used. Drums too. Drummers I have known, tune and experiment themselves (often no one else is allowed to touch them, lol) A very interesting insight into their world.

I remember back in the old days (never thought I would be saying that lol), we used to wait in anticipation to see what new sounds Ringo (The Beatles) had come up with on drums, and Georges guitar sounds also (everything was new' back in the 60's) George Martin, The Beatles producer, did have a huge influence on their technical and musical direction, but he did not 'stifle' their creativity. It would be interesting to see what the girls would come up with, if left to their own devices in the studio.
Tomomi has been really affected by this pandemic. I had a hard time guessing if it was really her until I heard her speak. I guess I was used to her giggling and smiling.

それこそ、scandalの曲って、テンポが速いものが多いイメージがあるから、こういうゆったりしたテンポの曲やってみて欲しいなーと思ってました。
