I find it’s so odd that 40 years ago while learning basic then cobol and others I learned these concepts. I never continued in programming but now find playing with Linux and learning this that although some differences with commands. The logic is the same so learning is easier. Thank you. Now need to watch the rest of these.
I will always be grateful to you, just these five bash classes taught me enough so that I could stand on my own two feet. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!

Hi Chuck, I sent all the Jr. Admins on my team to your channel for Linux crash course.. lots of positive feedback, thank you for saving me the trouble.. lol :)
I have watched all the videos in your bash series and I love them all. Thank you so much for making interactive and highly educative videos. Up next is your Linux and Python series ❤
NetwokChuck I love your fast approach. I can stand thise long down out , that I switch before the point. I can always backup, replay. Love the quickness.
More coffee Brother Chuck !! TY for the vids , learning and deploying massive network skills with your tutorials. Keep it up but first,,, More coffee !!! ☕
The annoying thing about when you learn one programming language and then you start learning another is you gotta learn variables, arrays, loops, and functions all over again because their is slight differences in code.
focus on coding through algorithms first! they all use practically the same algorithms. Then its easier to understand how to build any of the languages
Most of the time when you first start learning Linux, you have a beginner program for the matrix like screen in your terminal. That program is on an infinite loop most of the time.
Cool tutorial! Maybe one thing to change is to explain to the newbs that while you're inside the block of the loop, break and continue act on the remainder of code for the iteration, not on the whole iteration.
I had no idea I could use the exit result of a command like ping with an if statement (I'd been testing the output). My script is much cleaner now, thanks!!
What a champ. You should do pushups in the intro of the video. Gotta build up your brain muscles to be a better hacker by getting that blood flowing right. ;)
Elooo chuck, would you please drop a vid on HCI?, hyperflex , VMware etc... personally I would deeply appreciate it brother :) Thank you for the amazing content
Hey Chuck. So you can level up your elevator bash script by $(( $RANDOM % 17 + 1 )). Take out 13 and replace with this to dynamically change which floor to skip every time you run.
I get linode sponsors your videos. I get you think it's great. But aws offers much the same service, virtual machines work too, wsl2 has been working amazing from my experience. I'd like to see you mix it up a bit more so we can all learn a bit more.
The never ending while loop is often used in microcontrollers where you actually want the code to loop forever after powering the device that the microcontroller controls 🙂
Great way to teach people a subject. I've been coding for 20 years but never had such a fun instructor
I honestly love your energy and the effort you put into your videos, never gets boring!
username checks out with the pfp
It's all fake man

The annoying thing about when you learn one programming language and then you start learning another is you gotta learn variables, arrays, loops, and functions all over again because their is slight differences in code.
Syntaxes differs, but most logic and structure is similar.. once you learn one it's easier to learn others..
:)
Why you learn others? Master one
focus on coding through algorithms first! they all use practically the same algorithms. Then its easier to understand how to build any of the languages
ikr and thats when i end up becoming lazy to learn another language
There are more advanced things that are annoying than some basic concepts but you are still crying about this?
Clear, concise and entertaining content Chuck! Great job!
This series is helping me with my cybersecurity course. Chuck teaches the way I learn. Keep up the good work!

Most of the time when you first start learning Linux, you have a beginner program for the matrix like screen in your terminal. That program is on an infinite loop most of the time.
Having fun is always the periority before learning new things, Very cool tutorial !!
The fact you dropped and busted out 38 press-ups in 1 set like it was nothing was actually really impressive 😂
2:50 "nano pushups .sh, hit [ENTER] and then... *#!* - Did I scare you?" - NetworkChuck

Your hair and beard reminds me of the Arthur Maxson character in Fallout 4.
Hey Chuck. So you can level up your elevator bash script by $(( $RANDOM % 17 + 1 )). Take out 13 and replace with this to dynamically change which floor to skip every time you run.
if only those profs teach programming like this, class wouldn't feel so boring at all
Woohoo I really enjoy your content brother.
This playlist is amazing!
Thanks!
Nice Dune reference. You kinda look like the character. ;P
I get linode sponsors your videos. I get you think it's great. But aws offers much the same service, virtual machines work too, wsl2 has been working amazing from my experience. I'd like to see you mix it up a bit more so we can all learn a bit more.
do you have a tutorial on how to loop drums, app, etc.
Is there a way to do city and state with the weather? when I try it sees it as 2 different commands. zip code works but I'd rather see city names.
The never ending while loop is often used in microcontrollers where you actually want the code to loop forever after powering the device that the microcontroller controls 🙂
Yea, for ex. Arduino code is stored inside a loop() function and runs as long as the device is on.
Hey Chuck please make a vedio on what is payload how they work and how to use them i am having a hard time understanding that
Bro Chuck worked so hard that he changed race
Edit: He grayscaled the image so now it's less prominent
