Great way to teach people a subject. I've been coding for 20 years but never had such a fun instructor
I honestly love your energy and the effort you put into your videos, never gets boring!
username checks out with the pfp
It's all fake man
I will always be grateful to you, just these five bash classes taught me enough so that I could stand on my own two feet. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!
This series is helping me with my cybersecurity course. Chuck teaches the way I learn. Keep up the good work!
Hey Chuck. This is great step by step. Plus shows the power of bash scripts. Keep this up.
Clear, concise and entertaining content Chuck! Great job!
I'm working on a lab about loops for my Red Hat Linux Class!!! This is all I needed
Love the consistent videos sparked my interest in these videos once again and in learning
NetwokChuck
I love your fast approach. I can stand thise long down out , that I switch before the point.
I can always backup, replay.
Love the quickness.
Been waiting for this series to continue for ever!
I find it’s so odd that 40 years ago while learning basic then cobol and others I learned these concepts. I never continued in programming but now find playing with Linux and learning this that although some differences with commands. The logic is the same so learning is easier. Thank you. Now need to watch the rest of these.
I am impressed with your thumbnail, please chuck will you continue your Python course I missed your course 😌😔
yes please
YES
get off your tricycle and use a real lang like nim/vlang/zig
@@charlesselrachski34 use a real language like binary
@@rcovercasm, even better
all your videos are super energetic which is quite rare to see, huge respect.
Amazing course, Please continue this course Chuck!!!
You've probably heard that many times, your movies are one of the best in the industry. Keep it up
The never ending while loop is often used in microcontrollers where you actually want the code to loop forever after powering the device that the microcontroller controls 🙂
Yea, for ex. Arduino code is stored inside a loop() function and runs as long as the device is on.
The way you teach. It will make things more easier to understand. Thanks chuck waiting for the next tutorial of bash.
sadly, there isn't going to be a next one
This was awesome. Always something new to learn everyday. Thanks!
Always waiting for your awesome videos.
Having fun is always the periority before learning new things, Very cool tutorial !!
SHABANG! Thank you for your content, man! It inspires me to never quit coding.
Gave a like for them push ups! Keep at it!
Thanks for making this series, I watched all episodes. :D
Thanks for a fun vid! Loops are ab invaluable execution in the tool kit.
Loved this!

NOICE!
chuck ! love your content -- more shell videos neeeededd !!!
lots of love
Man, you're in good shape, 38!! this one is going viral, i promise :]
Cool tutorial! Maybe one thing to change is to explain to the newbs that while you're inside the block of the loop, break and continue act on the remainder of code for the iteration, not on the whole iteration.
hated/loved figuring this one out in /bin/zsh (almost gave up @ While do read -p ....). Thanks for the great content and lessons @NetworkChuck!
you are amazing man; those lessons are very useful
Easily the best IT RUclipsr!! Ty Bro!!
Chuck that was great i really liked this series.
Will you make an episode about functions in BASH. That would be great.
You are a great teacher 😀🔥🔥
Super Video Chuck Your videos are awesome And informative Chuck
Man that thumbnail threw me off big time 🤣
Great content, keep up the good work!
please keep going with this series
Big fan chuck you are huge now i am following you from 1000 followers sir
Really enjoyed this video series! Some good core concepts for getting into bash programming. Problem for me is, since I’m not creative, I cannot think of things I can practice to help me remember. Do you have a series of challenges that one could try to practice?
Hi Chuck, I sent all the Jr. Admins on my team to your channel for Linux crash course.. lots of positive feedback, thank you for saving me the trouble.. lol
:)
lol. Glad I could help :)
I know I used this when getting ready for My RHCSA exam 😂😂😂
Cup of Joe☕ & NetworkChuck first thing in a.m. is the way to goooo. Keep em coming Chuck :)
NO WAY IVE MISSED THIS SERIES SO MUCHHHJ
Best intro from all videos :)
This was just what i needed. You are awesome!
Also how can i get the time/date to show for each City just like we did for the weather?
I've researched and checked different resources but i haven't been able to find one that works
Thumbnail was not photoshopped! Spectacular
I had no idea I could use the exit result of a command like ping with an if statement (I'd been testing the output). My script is much cleaner now, thanks!!
The annoying thing about when you learn one programming language and then you start learning another is you gotta learn variables, arrays, loops, and functions all over again because their is slight differences in code.
Syntaxes differs, but most logic and structure is similar.. once you learn one it's easier to learn others..
:)
Why you learn others? Master one
focus on coding through algorithms first! they all use practically the same algorithms. Then its easier to understand how to build any of the languages
ikr and thats when i end up becoming lazy to learn another language
There are more advanced things that are annoying than some basic concepts but you are still crying about this?
Great, Its about time I got into shape!
finally! new bash video!
Woohoo I really enjoy your content brother.
I follow you and really like your style Greetings from egypt
Hey Chuk, i am warning you, loving your videos
ofc i get a notification for this while working out
we can't wait episode 6 hmm this free course is for me teacher🥰
5:59 I was not expecting that personal violation 😂
The fact you dropped and busted out 38 press-ups in 1 set like it was nothing was actually really impressive 😂
My brain is SHREDDED!
Most of the time when you first start learning Linux, you have a beginner program for the matrix like screen in your terminal. That program is on an infinite loop most of the time.
nobody knows but Chuck takes his preworkout every time he is about to record a video for us
nice push-ups!!
from all youtube ethical hacking videos for me yours is the best educational , entertaining , and funny . you're my personal favorite
Chuck isn't that out of shape tho
Really flexing those bash muscles ❣️❣️
You're so inspiring to guys like me Chuck
Amazing, I modified your script to be a scanner. Thank You! 🤩
2:50 "nano pushups .sh, hit [ENTER] and then... *#!* - Did I scare you?" - NetworkChuck
I had to laugh when you said this!
please continue this series
This was fun!
Just came to like the video 👍
thanks Chuck , thanks to you i understood
Elooo chuck, would you please drop a vid on HCI?, hyperflex , VMware etc... personally I would deeply appreciate it brother :)
Thank you for the amazing content
Hey Chuck. So you can level up your elevator bash script by $(( $RANDOM % 17 + 1 )). Take out 13 and replace with this to dynamically change which floor to skip every time you run.
Great content
What a champ. You should do pushups in the intro of the video. Gotta build up your brain muscles to be a better hacker by getting that blood flowing right. ;)
What would you recommend I get a certification from in It support or Data analytics.
Job demand, Salary, Growth opportunities considered.
😢I literally stunned to taught in a day about shell scripting please continue with real time example please
looking at this gets me ripped
do you have a tutorial on how to loop drums, app, etc.
Man we need more bash videos plizzzzs :((((((((((((
Hi, I think a video on how to extract data from pdf and scanned pdf to excel using python would be great.
Thanks.
Hey Chuck please make a vedio on what is payload how they work and how to use them i am having a hard time understanding that
this channel lmao, the intro is god
It's a killer content ✌️👍
I'm glad you changed the thumbnail
As an IT professional and a fitness buff, I approve of this invention.
Network CHAD
Can you make a video on how NPM packages that have vulnerabilities can be exploited? :D
For a second I thought it was Chris Bum in your thumbnail 😅
Now we need another episode of Python!!!!!!
Loop was great
Just posted a comment lol, but one more question. Just signed up, and wondering do you have a discord channel? Thought I saw it mentioned that you do.
Love you videos, so helpful! I have a question. I have a script that counts the amount of folders and creates the next one (plus some stuff that goes into that folder). Anyway, I want to remove those files. And instead, look at the highest number and create the next one. For example, if folder "stuff_thing359". I want it to be able to create "stuff_thing360". But currently, I have to have that many folders (359), since it counts them, and then it makes "stuff_thing360".
what I learned from the first two min of this video , is that I need to go the gym 😅😂
best luck!
Networkchuck, fireship and DBMS(David Bamble Management System)... Releasing videos in the same hour 😂 ❤️
Thankyou so much
Sir make a video on Web pen testing
