I've been waiting a month for this vlog, watching other channels in the mean time.. GOOD to have u back though!! You are by far my favourite Poker-vlogger as you recall and reflect upon the poker hans so very well!!
You don’t owe me no vlogs. You want to put them out, I’m happy to watch them. But if you got better things to do, all good. Thanks for the content so far.
As always a well done vlog, agreed that the game seemed pretty actioned, I'd need a 5 point seatbelt to play 😀 Understand about the balancing of making the vlogs, and playing for the income, don't see anyone objecting to slowing the vlogs down for that. Keep healthy and safe.
One of the best of poker vloggers. Nice to see you stepping up your game by moving up in stakes. Your ability to analyze hands is refreshing nice of you to explain thought process, very helpful.
My take on the A 10 hand vs. his J Q hand (depending on the guy's image and his stack size), I would have bet around 1/2 pot rather than 2/3, pot for the reasons: he has a possible small flush and did not bet but will call, he has a mediocre jack and did not bet but will call depending on the size of your river bet and you having showdown value. Alternatively, checking would have been a fine option also. Just watch the showdown part again and from his "proud" double fingertip tap of his cards and the double closing of his fists, the dude is more than likely a passive nitty player, hence, no feeler bets after the paired J flop. Not surprise if you fired a pot sized river bet that he would have folded trips, Thanks for the vlog, no need to apologize for the lack of vlog output. Your excellent content makes up the wait. We are just happy to see you again and winning. A win is a win, especial in 7 hours.
Your production value is so freaking high man. Possibly the best made vids in the space. You give me something to shoot for. GL and cant wait for the next ep
thanks for the videos mariano! morongo has been super packed lately. when i get my bankroll up in the next few months, i plan on hitting the 2-5 really hard... it's pretty soft there. best of luck on the tables bro!
Good action indeed. On the 33 hand, I think raising to $120 after 2 players already put in 40 each is not enough to push them out. $170 raise would stand a better chance to accomplish the task.
Man I lived in lake Elsinore for a year (from Michigan) and I used to go play cards at morongo at least 3 times per week.. I just came across your video and brought back so many awesome memories thanks man!
I have been following you since Vlog 1. You have came such a long way, it is inspiring to watch your videos. Keep up the good work we want to see you play more often in those 5/10!
The A10 hand seems like a stretch for thin value. I can't think of any worse hands that would call you with two J's and three diamonds on the board. Thanks for the vlog!
I used to not like your vlogs, at all haha. NGL. Now I really do. You're a much better player and I like the plays you make and your thoughts on the hands. Keep it up man.
Hey Mariano - your V.O. skills have truly matured over your vlogging career. Your commentary is insightful and educational, but you add just the right soupçon of self-deprecation to keep it fun. Strategic thought: guy on your left seemed to have a very small, difficult-to-find fold button. Maybe move seats to get away from his immediate right? And on a more somber note: I haven't returned to casino poker since February. I don't have to play to eat, and I'm not willing to fade Covid-19 for recreation. What's been your experience at Morongo and other properties regarding safety protocols? You don't have to play epidemiologist on the Interwebs, but do you feel pretty safe?
By doing that you're targetting worse jacks, most of which aren't calling an all in with a low kicker. Also opens the door for two pair hands like 10 9 or lower sets to snap you off
IMO, the 33s you raised too small. Vs all that dead money I would have made it 5x at least. You gave them a good price to call. I thought this before I saw the outcome of the hand.
Ahh yes. I was doing the title of your video here back in late 04 and 05. I started cutting my teeth here on Monday’s playing 5 card 08. I’ve been in Vegas 5 years now.
The A10 hand, I opt for c/c on River, your only valuebetting against k10q10 and maybe 99's that wants to hero?, against 2 villains, on this river bluffcatching seems more profitable esspecially when first to act. If you think about the ranges that villain(s) is going to check flop and call turn with than I think you are most likely to be up against air. Its also pretty dangerous to re open action against good players if they think you are capable of going thin for value otr. I would be pretty inclined to reraise if I had a blocker like A of diamond in that spot. Given that villain flats with QJ on river going thin at these kind of tables is perfectly fine I guess XD GG & Good Luck at the tables
I like bet with A,10 ... I would have bet a little smaller (maybe 100 or 120 if I don't want to get raised). You read it well and have to get thin value when you can. Maybe the 3rd diamond scared your op a little, so when 3 suited cards are out there, and you have been called, or even just called by 2 players, continuing with a smaller bet or, checking in position sometimes is probably good too. My feeling was that you likely had the best hand tho :) It's just one of those spots eh?
I like your bet with A10 on the J10XXJ board. You're going to value own yourself sometimes when they play a Jack like that but overall I think it's a profitable spot to throw a value bet in. Just my opinion, don't know what the solver says 😂
I despise slow rollers. Albeit not as bad as some of the slow rolls I've received. If I get slow rolled, I make it my life mission to stack opponent and try to slowroll him at the same time!
Whenever u have pocket kings and ace comes out on the flop (which seems to happen 9 out of 10 times) you better fold 10 out of 10 times lol. I always get killed by pocket jacks followed by pocket kings.
I've noticed the younger players focusing on getting max value. Have players forgot that poker is also about losing the minimum? The A 10 hand is the best example. Bet the turn, then bet 2/3 pot on the river for value? What hands are you hoping will call there? 99 or a ten with a worse kicker? No hands you're beating are going to call. If you're willing to dump another 160 into the pot, you're better off check calling to catch a bluff.
@@MarianoPoker @Mariano I agree that getting all the value you can while not giving it is a big part of your edge long term. But sizing matters. That A10 spot was marginal. I'd like a check call or a much smaller sizing, maybe $75.
After that big win early on, you kind of caught a bad beat. I think you played the hands well. Just bad luck. Next time you win a big one like that early in the session, rack em up and head out. 👌
I like that you're trying to read your opponents... but sometimes you just don't have it. Betting that big with pocket 3's isn't a value play. More than likely your opponent has you nailed from seeing what you've been doing from prior hands.

Did the chimichangas get displaced by noon on shallow red roof dormitory shingles?
@Daniel Dayton watch all of Andrew Neeme's vlogs (could probably skip the MUG ones). Then watch them all again. He's a solid player
@@MarianoPoker i like your vlogs better

When visiting SD, inspired solely by your videos, I played Oceans 11 & Jamul and had a good time. Keep up the good work & safe travels.
a new vid!! keep it up, your mix of poker skill and videography make these such a treat.

Back in Business - like it. Greetings from ... Germany ;-) again
Good to have the vlog back. Morongo seems crazy.
Bit disrespectful throwing the cards at the dealer like you did after the 33 bluff though.
Mike Ryan Looked like he threw them to the center, not at the dealer.
Dealer is my good friend, just messing around
Always love the vlog congrats on new place. I'll be out in LA in early december hopefully I'll run into you at the table or elsewhere
Finally. I tried watching other poker vlogs... then just stopped watching poker vlogs
Enjoyed the vlog! Great content as usual.
Good job! Do not feel pressured to crank out VLOGS, it's your pace and so you're allowed to have a flexible schedule.

Does anyone know what type of identification do you need to cash in your chips and vouchers and how old do you have to be to play blackjack in morongo
School ID or library card. And 13 years old
how do you check poker wait times? was that an app ? they're only doing walk ins and no appointments so i can't play bc the wait time is 3-6 hours

hey brother, value owning ourselves sometimes isn't too bad - if it never happens to you, you may not be going for thin value enough of the time.

I think you took to many risk for a long unsuccessful looking night. Sorry it couldn't be better for you though. Great video👍
Seems like a very timid game. Not a lot of raises pre and 3 betting?
I like your bet with A10 on the J10XXJ board. You're going to value own yourself sometimes when they play a Jack like that but overall I think it's a profitable spot to throw a value bet in. Just my opinion, don't know what the solver says 😂

How much do you make on the month?
how long have you been playing cash games?
Dude you travel Just for play poker or its Just a consequence?i like ur analysis during games💪🌟😉
November 7-12 I’d like to come to any meet up games in Vegas
Why does the dealer sometimes go thru all the cards after the river? I’ve never played in casinos before just home games so I’m confused
