reason xfrisk's theme started playing on gaster was because you resetted during awakening and the game thinks the awakening goes back to base despite you changing character so it plays xfrisk's theme

something exactly like this happened but with friends i guess? basically i was just minding my business and decided to get on a 1v1 so i found the nearest person (The "cute girl" in this situation) and used the 1v1 request policy (aka hitting the person a little and waiting to see their response) proceeded to do a whole damn combo but sure and the moment i hit them i swear an asgore which happened to be friends with them spawmed right next to me and started beating the living hell out of me became a 2v1 from the get go and after the inevitable loss and them saying ez i was just annoyed worst part i couldnt even approach them again the dude was literally a body guard at that point like bruh this is a fighting game
