Don't ask for 1v1's. People will be more willing to fight you if you're some random jackmass who refuses to elaborate on why your punching them. Just find the nearest group, locate the player with the highest streak or kills, and begin.

Since newbies dont know you are good while the more advanced players see you using gaster and that skin and think "oh hell naw bro i am not fighthing that guy i dont want to be trapped in a 50 hour long gaster combo" or they just prefer to farm noobs for skins lol

Most pros even if they're on group they respect the 1v1s but anyways there's a high chance that their teammates will do something at the most important moments to do not let you win.

You can never know for sure whether someone is good or not before fighting them, and pros feel bad if they destroy someone with lower skill after starting the fight
New players dont have to worry about this and can fight anyone guilt free
