Hi guys, health issues unfortunately delay further videos for a few days, if things go badly, maybe a little longer. Anyway, I wish you a good start in 2024 and the next video will definitely come. For updates also please check the community tab.
I have to agree, these are very great minifigures! If I use them on a real display I may change the accessories a little bit and I do have questions about a one-eyed tanker in combat but this does not take away from the overall outstanding quality. Thank you so much for watching and commenting! :)
@@hookybrickshooky9529 haha yeah the pirate tanker. Well maybe we can assume its towards end of the war, and germans had to resort to pirates to fill in the gaps in manpower 😃 But same issue with Tiger 131, one of the tankers has a blind eye or so it seems. Not sure what BKM deal with that
He he, BKM and Cobi obviously think that bad guys wear eye-patches. Basically I can only think of one fitting scenario with a one-eyed tanker and you are basically on the right track with the Germans being short on manpower at the end of the war. Disabled soldiers were usually used as instructors, and a tank soldier who lost an eye in battle could of course still train young recruits in the art of tank combat. I know more than one story in which the same instructors went into battle with their trainees as a last stand. So if I ever do a 1945 Berlin diorama, the Tiger crew "pirate" will be used in his tank crew along with rather young looking soldiers. @@Rula2020
@@hookybrickshooky9529 Yep, patched eyes, scars, mad face seen it all I think from BKM to be inline with “bad” guy look according to Hollywood. Like someone once said in a call of duty video game- “history is written by the victors”. Berlin 1945 sounds actually really interesting. It was fascinating to me how they dug in all available tanks into the ground and used them as artillery, and make sense as there was nowhere else to retreat at that point.
Yes, history is indeed written by the victors, that was, is and certainly always will be true. And yes, I know Berlin's stationary tank battalion, which consists exclusively of stationary tanks in various states of repair. Berlin's stationary tank battalion, which is all stationary tanks in varying states of repair. There is a very impressive picture of a buried panther surrounded by hundreds of fired shell casings... it must have been a worthy last stand. @@Rula2020

One of my favorite brickmania minifigures to date, brickmania did an amazing job with those, considering those are few years old by now.

the brickmania tiger+the brickmania tiger crew pack is gonna bring us all into credit card debt
When I bought the Tiger Crew Pack it cost just over €100. Was there a sudden price increase?
