    This is great! How would you integrate this form into a website? For example, I am creating a business directory and we want customers to be able to add their information from the form to Google Sheets, but want to be able to market the directory via our website.

    That’s a very good video, thank you. I’m using Jotform and am very impressed by the range of functionality and integration, which brings me to my question;
    When Jotform is sending data to Google Sheets is it possible for Google sheets to send feedback to Jotform and thereby limit options on the form?
    For instance, I have a restaurant booking form and it offers certain times on each day to book. Each of those time slots has a finite number of bookings possible, so let’s say for example, once the 1:00pm slot is full, I’d like Google sheets to communicate that fact back to Jotform and then for Jotform to grey out that option and make it unavailable so that customers can see immediately that certain seating times are gone and choose the ones that are available and most suitable for them.
    Is that possible?

    Thank you for this video.
    Can JotForm be used to enter data and edit it?
    For example, a form that allows entering students data to a table with lots of columns that is not easily viewable in itself. After inputting the data, the user could browse and edit the data by using kind of next and back buttons.
    And is there any feature for avoiding duplication of data?

      Hi, That's possible with JotForm. You can have your users edit their submissions at a later time by providing them the edit URL. Guide: www.jotform.com/help/40-How-to-Let-Users-Update-Their-Form-Submissions-at-a-Later-Date. To prevent duplicate on a particular field value e.g. Email, you can enable Unique Question so submissions with duplicate value on a particular field won't go through.     Can data in a Google Sheet be used to populate options for a drop down menu in a JotForm form? I have an existing list of vendors that I would like to put into a JotForm so our buyer can easily select a vendor name from a pre-populated list.

    Hi
    is it possible to add fields if required. like if we have given 1 fields for Phone, now user want 2nd fields for phone is it possible to add, field will add dynamically in the form or we have to keep it in the form.

    Hi!
    Thank you for the video. Here's my situation: I have a bunch of different Jotforms integrated to Goggle spreadsheets. They're tracking vaccination submissions for different events for a company. Is there a way to make sure that all those Jotforms can go into another "Master" spreadsheet as well? What I need is for the Jotforms to submit to the original Google Sheet for a specific event, but also to the "Master" one that I need to create.

      Hi Raphael, When you integrate your form with Google Sheets, only one sheet will be generated in your Google account which is where the submissions data will be sent. You can't integrate a form to multiple sheets. The workaround is to use other 3rd party apps like zapier.com, integromat.com, automate.io, and ifttt.com so you can connect Jotform to another Google Sheet aside from the direct integration you have with Jotform.     If I use the Square payment gateway on my jotform form, when someone submits a payment will the jotform with the square gateway on it update the google sheet like you just did or with zapier need to be involved to update the google sheet when a square payment is made?

      Hi Danny, The sheet will automatically update as soon as the form submission went through with successful payment. No further configuration required on Square's end.

    Is there a way to separate the data from the form into 3 worksheet tabs instead of just one? I would have the user select 1 of 3 locations to register for and I'd like the data to be separated accordingly. Currently, I have my form set up for a parent to register multiple children who might be registering for multiple locations (ex. Student 1 is going to location A, Student 2 is going to location B but the parent only has to open the one form to register both students). Thanks for your help!

      This is possible when you have separate forms for each students and then integrate each form into the same existing sheet. When each of the forms are submitted, their data will be saved into their separate sheets. Alternatively, if you prefer to have a single form, you can reference data from other sheets within a single spreadsheet. This basically allows you to replicate the data and copy it from one sheet to another.     How can I integrated jot form with WordPress website I try to integrate with copy link and paste in the section but my form look terrible and also received a right side scroll as well

    We are using jotform for dynamic online event registrations ... The Gsheets integration creates a header using the verbose Jotform question. Wordy column header field names with spaces in them is very problematic to use programatically from something like python or other software programs. Ive tried to rename the columns in jotform which does work but has to be done over and over for each event form.
    Is there a way to create & use shorter header names then the verbose form questions?
    Jotform DOES create an "Unique Name" for each field that is short, has no spaces and can be modified when building the form. These would make perfect header names if they could be used as the gsheets field headers. Can they be?

      We understand your requirements but unfortunately, there's currently no alternative naming conventions for the column headers on Google Sheets Integration. We have opened a feature request ticket based on your description for now. You can check the ticket here: www.jotform.com/answers/4512907. Once this is considered in the future, we'll let you know here. What you can do for now is to edit the column headers in the integrated sheet since it remains editable. Alternatively, you can use Zapier to integrate Jotform with Google Sheets which offers an option to define your own custom sheet where you want the form data to be saved.     we edit the table with updates after the original form submission - we want to sync one of the tabs in the table, not the forms when they are being submitted... is this possible or do I have to apply my own automation?

      Unfortunately, in-line editing on the form table will not sync with Google Sheets or trigger the Google Sheets integration. To update the submission on Google Sheet, you will have to edit the submission individually through its edit link then resubmit the form. It is also possible to edit on the table through Edit Entry method: www.jotform.com/help/325-how-to-edit-submissions-made-on-your-forms/#edit-entry.

    Hello, how do I integrate a jotform that has an image upload field to submit to Google Drive or Dropbox? I want to have ALL form data, including the image go into Drive/Dropbox. Thanks.

      Minor edits on the columns as you mentioned should be possible but excessive edits might affect the integration. We recommend that you keep the integrated sheet as much as possible. If you wish to make changes to the data or columns, we recommend creating a new sheet in a separate tab and then use data reference to pull data from other sheets.     Hi, Kathryn! Is it possible to create an event with Jotform with up to 80 different sessions/rooms to choose? We have Flex Friday at our school, and we need a way for students to select one of the up to 80 different rooms offering a special fun experience or club (ex: Literary Club, Crochet Circle, etc.). Students choose only ONE option per Friday, but we need to place a cap on certain rooms and be able report what rooms will have which students each week. Thoughts? Thanks in advance for any advice you can give. (We are a public school and need a free option.)

      Thanks for choosing Jotform. To meet your needs, I suggest using the Gift Registry widget. With this widget, you can create a list of session options, each with a limit of 80 slots. By setting the maximum selection to one, users can choose only one session per form submission. On every form submission, the slots on the selected session will decrement by 1.       You can use the same existing spreadsheet file for multiple forms, but each of the forms are placed into separate worksheet tabs, not on the same worksheet as this is not supported with our Google Sheet Integration. However, if you're familiar with tools like Zapier or Make.com, you can integrate Jotform with Google Sheets through these platforms, which allows using the same worksheet for multiple forms.

      We have replied to your first comment. In clarification to our recommendation using the Configurable List Widget, this doesn't output data in separate rows. Since this is still considered a single field, its data in every submission will be added in one cell. Only each new submissions are added in separate rows.

    hi.. im doing a form that include calculation widget. i already tried to integrate it to google sheet, and i only include the total form field for the google sheet.. however the result / total is not appearing on the google sheet 🥲 can you help me please?

      If you have modified your form like adding or removing fields, we kindly suggest that you re-integrate your form with Google Sheet. You can remove the existing Google Sheet integration then integrate it again. Aside from that, we advise not to make any changes on the integrated sheet so it will not break the integration.

    HI, Imagine a few people are coming under the name of one invitee (Co-workers or friends) how do add their names. I mean how to add more names under one entry or add more than one name on the name field like a list? please help, thanks in advance!

      If you're looking for a feature where your form users enter a list of names and other information, we recommend using the Configurable List Widget. You can define what information to ask for in the widget settings, and users will simply have to click a button in the form if they want to enter another set of information.       By default, Jotform does not have limits with how many times you can submit the form despite using the same email address. If you are getting errors during submissions when the same email is entered, you have to set Unique Question limit in your form settings back to default "No Check".
