I live here. It's a nice little town, very quiet, despite its proximity to Olympia and other larger places. The people who live here are also more down-to-earth. With many parts of Western Washington losing their minds, it's nice to live in a community with good values and a sense of community.
Ooh! Yeah this place is great! As a resident (currently in middle school) it’s a great place to be, residents are some of the nicest in Washington, the nature is great, and the town center has some amazing restaurants!
I'm from Florida and recently visited Washington State Olympia, Issaquah, Renton etc. and my family fell in love with this beautiful state and its people. This video really confirms our first impressions on Washington. This is the true definition of COMMUNITY! To create its own currency helping Residents who then help the community is absolutely BRILLIANT. More so, its heart warming and a true inspiration of what a community should always be. I salute each and every one of you - I have lived in Florida since 1984 and we are hoping to move in the summer to west Washington - we have 2 acres in Christmas Florida and love nature and community but we are done with the heat, hurricanes, etc. Its a big and scary move so we are praying a lot - sorry for rambling - just wanted to express what a beautiful real story you've shared to remind us all during these terrible days - there is still hope for that American Dream of Community - PS: My family has watched the movie Cars over 50 times and yes we've cried all 50 times because everyone longs to be part of that true community spirit. I moved to tenino wa just over a year now. I even had the honor of working at the coffee/bistro shop you see at 00:56 in. I Miss it so much and cherish everyone I meant. Amazing town I'm greatful to live in... I reside between the wolf Haven and the lady of the lake.
