You are correct, I was looking in Las Vegas, and OMG! the houses have gone up crazy. Now I was told the owners have to bring down the price because nobody is buying, they are overpriced and nobody's looking. Now there are owners that are losing their homes to the banks. So, Sad.
I bet overpricing in the short term is the main one, from a potential buyer's perspective, especially with real estate which traditionally is long term investment nationwide.
This is basic facts. Nature of the market. I am going to wait another year to see how the market [legend] indicates. Most real estate companies have records. Including what the final offer (accepted) was. Edited: Again, the way Tommy explain this, Couldn't find one way to better simplify this law of nature. Value vs. asking price. Make an offer!!!
