It's easy to not realise they were on this OST as the song is barely audible for about 2 seconds when Rico is wandering thru the mega city on his way to pick up his stuff. Criminally neglected.
In 5 years this comment will become more than just an old comment on an older video about old comments. At that point it will, for one year, come full circle. Truly shows how the beauty of music goes across time. I find this greatly touching.
Listening to it again, after 17 years, I come to realize BLUE BELL KNOLL could have been the "tempt track" the director chose to ask the band the type of song he needed for the movie?
Blade Runner is an awesome movie! I own it and the novel Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep? Yes, I like Mad Max too. I'm happy to know they are making an animated film of that. And yes, V For Vendetta, both the film and graphic novel, which I own. Can't go wrong with Alan Moore.
I have been a fan for many years and due to my lack of pc savvy, and little time for faffing about searching for stuff, have heard this for the first time. Love it! Thank you
Wow! Thank you so much for posting this. Like others, I thought I'd heard all CT songs. Not so! What a very beautiful song. Sends chivers down my spine...
@@Ananhedonian All of western music is made up of twelve notes. Bands tend to develop habits in terms of what they do with those twelve notes. It’s partly why we can hear a song and say “that sounds like the band x”. Or hear a song and be reminded of another.
Love this track, plus Judge Dredd surely wins the prize of biggest disparity in quality between the soundtrack and the movie it accompanies.
I'd say The Saint goes up there too
That and The Beach
Adding Spawn to the list
💯
I'd also say Lost Highway. Does anyone remember a thing about that movie? Yet the soundtrack was freaking amazing.
This song sounds like the direction the Cocteaus could've taken if they didn't break up. This and Touch Upon Touch.
After 40 years of listening CT music I heard this song for very fist time. What a surprise! Beautifull!

This might be my favorite CT song. It’s unlike anything they’ve written even in their singular body of work.
hauntingly beautiful song - even by their (high) standards
Lol
que temazoooooo que sonido de los maravillosos Cocteau Twins...
So weird to see comments from 10 years ago. Such a wonderful niche band known only by the lucky few.
Yes John doe - signed Jane doe

Another CT masterpiece!
"The song changed my life.

They sound-alike. I noticed it right away. Both are amazing.
Yup!! Very Bluebell Knoll..awesome!
Feels as if they shoved several songs off that album smashed together
best cocteau song
Wow, I have never heard this song before. What beauty!
Awesome I miss the 80's so much
song from 1995;)
90's
;)
Epic Cocteaus, sheer class.
Just now hearing this and really love this band and Lush
Just finished watching it
And heard this song during the movie and saw it at the ending credits and now I’m vibing to it
Thank you 🙏
The Moive is Underpants The Soundtrack Amasing ❤
I was today years old when I realized that this song is all intro. The beat never drops. 🤯
This is by far the most unique song from the Cocteau Twins or at least to my ears it is. And one of my faves.
I haven't heard this before & I thought I knew Liz Fraser's work inside out... Wong!!
Awesome.. thank you so much for posting!!
Same here
Never heard this before and I'm a ridiculously huge CT lover. It's just beautiful.
@@nikkifarrington-clarke9995 Same, I'm writing a review of every Cocteau Twins song and this just came up
Que gran hallazgo! ♥
Wow, thought I'd heard everything they ever did, and now this! As Depeche Mode once sang, I just can't get enough! Thanks a million Kaqil
All excellent movies/novels you've both listed so far. Don't forget Robocop!!
one of the cocteau's most vocally spare tracks. washes of guitar delays are carried along by a warm digital thump.
The Cocteau Twins ARE the law!
First time I've heard this! I knew they were on the soundtrack, but always listen out for it when i watch it.

thanks for posting this great rare C/T track!
Something magical happens at 02:30 and I still can't figure out what it is. Some note added to a chord - but the entire thing just shifts
Man, listening to this reminds me of all the early 90's movies I watched, plus I do own Judge Dredd on dvd.
I have been a fan for many years and due to my lack of pc savvy, and little time for faffing about searching for stuff, have heard this for the first time. Love it! Thank you
HMMMMM LOVE IT!!
This was my first introduction to the Cocteau Twins,

Tune 😎
great
Guthrie's montage of guitar timbres are wonderful! Enjoyed the film as well! What was the Cure song associated with this film?
Dredd Song
Why this is not a spotify? 🥺
The worst comic-based movie of the 90's with the best soundtrack ever!
here 2025!!! c'mon! lez go!!!
This movie had a good soundtrack. Well, I liked the movie too.
WOAH
still, a great soundtrack for such a bad movie. the cure, leftfield, the the, white zombie, and the twins.. not a bad lineup.
Indeed! The The & The Cocteau Twins in the same movie? Never thought I'd ever hear such a thing!
I fkn LOVE that CURE song from this movie
I was thinking that very same thing! I'm leaning toward a guy like Donkey Kong Country when I hear this song.
and leftfield!
95й год...
This is a great song by the ct's. It should have went on an album. I've never heard it before. Maybe because that judge dredd movie was so bad.
can someone post 'Time Baby Three' please?
I love Medicine!! Got to see them live in Dallas in 1995 and met the singer Beth! She was soo friggin cool!
i think this also has elements of heaven or las vegas, the song.
Sounds a bit like Blue Bell Knoll to me.
@@Ananhedonian You're not alone. It's because it has that same hihat pattern as Blue Bell Knoll

At the time of this posting nine people with no fucking sense of what an amazing track this is.🤷♂️
@Kaqil were those not the best of times
add 20 minutes of dredd judging criminals and get rid of rob schnieder and the old dredd is superior to recent dredd film.
