So I can explain the signal bar difference between US Mobile and Visible. You're right that they're both on VZW. The signal bar difference is Apple's doing. Signal bars are a terrible measure of signal strength, because each OEM, Apple included, has their own algorithm for what one bar vs no bars mean. Also Apple pretty much has always lagged behind their flagship Android counterparts in radio reception. If you had a Pixel 8 Pro with US Mobile it would probably get usable signal at your job. I'm grandfathered on US Mobile's old 75GB plan for $60 for three lines, taxes included. My wife, my mother and I have had the service for three years. You couldn't pay me to switch. More than one carrier has tried lol.
I am on the 50 day trial on Us Mobile and it’s been awesome!! I plan on keeping US Mobile, I had AT&T before and I don’t see any difference in fact I get better signal.
I have used US Mobile for several years now, and after some early hiccups, we have loved it . Was on Verizon for over a decade, and when I would have questions or problems, often times I would hang up after 45 minutes of being on hold. Has never taken more than six minutes to talk to a live person with US Mobile. And oh by the way, my annual bill with US Mobile is approximately $2600 less than with Verizon. Wish I had done it sooner.
I LOVE stories like this. Identical service, better customer service wait times, less expensive. I’m not saying prepaid is perfect but… $2600 back a year! That’s a vacation!
I've had the Warp 5G service since February after being on Verizon for the last 7 years. Service with US Mobile has been identical so far. Only oddity I've encountered so far is two times my phone went into SOS where I normally have service. Flipped on Airplane mode for a second and that fixed it. I use the Starter plan @ $25 month and also have service with Boost which isn't near as good coverage or speeds but can get the monthly price under $15 with the Boost app. My bill between the two services is under $40 a month and was paying roughly $85 after taxes just before leaving VZW.
Great information! I just ordered a starter kit... I pay too much for my one phone. I got. a month trial just to see if I like it. The cost of cell phone plans in the usa is absolutely insane....
That was a GREAT review, no nonsense that no one wants to hear or has anything to do with what you're talking about. Now to decide between US Mobile and Visible.
Visible. They give you truly unlimited high speed data with no caps, plus unlimited text, talk and unlimited hotspot. There are no overages of any kind. If you live in a good Verizon area I would go with Visible 7 days a week.
@@rickyc664 That's if you want unlimited data. US Mobile offers three different net works to choose, Warp 5G (Verizon), Light Speed (T-Mobile) and Dark Star (AT&T). I agree if you need the unlimited plan, then Visible is the better option. US Mobile is monthly.
I was a post-paid Verizon customer for years…. I switched to AT&T prepaid and overall it’s good service but it leaves a lot to be desired. I’m thinking this will be a good fit both price-wise and app-wise (AT&T fails to give you a good understanding of usage). Thanks for sharing!
When you were talking about the difference in Service Levels for signal, the reason is because your Data was shot off on the Visible line, so it's was falling back to a Voice Only Band which show's a weaker signal. I've noticed that myself and when I flip back and forth both carriers to do the same thing depending on which is default for data.
Both great options. The 5G UWB performs much better than Visible’s base plan. US Mobile has similar performance but just a bit more detailed on the usage data 📊
@evertonsway I appreciate you talking about the video buffering. That's something I've been comparing too. Other plans are 480 base while this is 720 base.
Were you ever able to test the differences between the Warp 5G (Verizon) & the GSM 5G (T-Mobile, to my understanding)? After having my 5G Play More plan get pushed in price to over $90 now, and their current upgrade doesn't even offer Google Play Pass, I need to know as my Redmagic 8s pro is on Verizon & needs to be sure of what form I start paying for.
At the packer Stadium I was able to pull 3.5K download and 300 up with US Mobile. What do you men by slight delay? I live in Northeast Ohio and I so not have that on US mobile. Visible I did however have less bars and slower speeds for me
Before changing from Cricket, which has been superb, I am thinking of moving to Us Mobile due to the $. Will you be warned before you go over your data limit? Will you be reminded that it's time to renew your plan? What happens once you do - it just slows down? What are those 3 cards you receive, so it looks like, with your SIM?
I've been with US Mobile on their Warp 5G (Verizon) for several months now, and no complaints. Super fast data, crystal clear calls, and top-notch customer service. Their unlimited data throttles after 35 GB, but it's to 1 MB instead of the usual 256K on other MVNOs, which is a huge plus. You can get service on any of the three major carriers (AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon) and switch between them if you need to. I highly recommend US Mobile for a solid, no-nonsense MVNO.
Great videos on US Mobile 👍.... Question, I have At&t as my primary and Spectrun currently as 2nd line. I wanna switch to US Mobile and get a yearly prepaid plan. Should I go to Verizon or T-Mobile? I live in Texas and usually visit Mexico, but international features are not a priority for US Mobile as At&T covers it. I use my 2nd line for those odd instances. At&t has a weak signal, and ny Samsung S24 phone has auto data switching enabled.
Hey! The T-Mobile (gsm 5g) version supports international roaming with data on the network, and Mexico is one of the supported instances. I also live in Texas and get good service
@evertonsway Yeah, I think you said Yo8 lived in San Antonio. Yeah, I was leaning towards T-Mobile. Not many places benefit on the mmwave spectrum yet. Also saw reviews that T-Mobile 5G can still get mid 500mb in some places, so that's good.
Thank l think l will try it out. My exited that it 50 days 😮😊. Am moving from mint's 3 month plan it starteded good but droped over that one month. it good for some peple but it been way to noticeble the issues but found out it where am located which l have had a bad experience l did get a deal for first time customer . Never had a plan that had so many signal lost
mint mobile used to have zero-latency, right now every time when i try it, the latency is very very obvious, especially in ig or youtube, im wondering if it got something to do with tmobile buying mint mobile, if the us mobile can keep up with less latency, then they will be a fantastic package to get in that price range
Same here. That’s why I switched over to US Mobile from Mint. After years on T-Mobile postpaid, I was confident Mint’s coverage would work for me, but the ping times on Mint were terrible for me in areas where my T-Mobile line had great performance.
Me too tbh, best phone service I’ve had yet as far as reception . I’m on the fence of switching to visible though as I like the unlimited hotspot option.
@chichirosie5295so I switched to visible for a month to try it out it was good but I think us mobile was the best so far. I was using both services on an unlocked iPhone 13. I’m sorry you’re not having a good time in Tampa I’m in Palm Bay so maybe further south is better?
us mobile doesn't offer roaming except on lteria networks also us mobile has this Feature called teleport that lets u use all their networks to help with Coverage gaps hope this is helpful have a good day
Probably not going to make a lot of sense to try to compare 2 same signals from the same phone. My guess is that the phone isn’t going to be able to work properly to use the best connection for both eSIMs. It’s probably why the connection bars are different, they might be using different frequencies.
@@evertonsway yup. Probably worth it to make a really good comparison is to disable either VZW Visible or US Mobile eSIMs when comparing them. This way one eSIM isn't fighting the other eSIM for the best frequency to connect to the same provider.
I have been watching all your videos and I know you make videos for all these companies so you have to be careful who you recommend but if you can recommend who you think seems the most stable and consistent for all the prepaid options? I know it all depends on your area but I have had mint in 3 different states and it has SUCKED in every area. I really just want something more consistent and cant decide. I'd love to know who you think seems more stable and consistent to you? Thanks for these videos!
Loved the video and im glad you reviewed US Mobile!!! Just a thought as a US Mobile customer: the reason US Mobile doesn't have alot of latency with RUclips videos is because anyone on their Warp5G plans (pool or unlimited) is premium data. Your data access should be at the same level of priority as a post paided Verizon customer if im not mistaken which is really cool since most MVNOs dont have priority data on their plans.
I'm looking for basic phone service without internet. I was told about US Mobile. I want just a basic land line. Is US Mobile good for that? I like their prices.
If you get decent T-Mobile coverage you can get Tello for 8/month unlimited calls, no data and they offer WiFi calling as well. But to answer your question Visible is a good service but you’re paying for that data.
I like Visible the best. It's simple, not a lot of thinking involved and has great call quality. That being said, it's not the fastest data speeds, that would be Tello for me, but it's definitely good.
2 questions, if you use 35 or 100 gigs of premium data on light speed or warp for example, and you switch to dark star, will your premium data reset? Like do you get 35 or 100 gigs on each network (300 gigs of premium data total) or 35 or 100 gigs of premium data using all 3 networks? Second question is, on there website they say after reaching your data allotment, that your speed "MAY" reduce to 1 mbps, however most people say it is a hard throttle for everyone to that speed, basically is the 1 mbps throttle guaranteed or only occasional?

Question: If someone would please answer this question, if you know the answer? I switched to US Mobile and so far it is great. I also protected my account as recommended by US Mobile. They also have added protection where you can request "No Port" and "No sim swap". this requires extensive verification before you can port or sim swap.
