Charlie Bird reaches summit of Croagh Patrick as part of his charity climb

Thousands of people took to hills and mountains around the country today as part of the ‘Climb with Charlie’ event. Former RTÉ News correspondent Charlie Bird spearheaded the fundraising drive following his diagnosis with Motor Neurone Disease. As he reached the summit of Croagh Patrick earlier today the total amount raised reached just over 1.5 million euro
