@@DuncanL7979 correct. You will get uneven wear, so the inner edge will wear faster than the outside, but the rate at which is does wouldnt be much different to if you had 1 degree of camber. The fact its uneven is another contributor to why people may mistake camber being the issue.
Because it's so subjective. You can compare objective testing on tires and find out the "best" with that, but ultimately, you may like another tire better for the same purpose. Check out Tyre Reviews channel of you haven't already. Very good information, in depth testing.
Brand isn't really the argument. Some brands have different tires that are good while the same brand has other tires that are shit. Goodyear suck all around.
I ran negative camber on my car and it was I'm talking about you just a slight camber and it took about 3-4 months before I needs new tires. Brand new Wheels & tires. Those who decide to run that long-term more power to you but I will never do it again. The only reason I even ran it to begin with is because I was too lazy to go get an alignment when I put my coilovers on. You best believe when I swapped over to a new set of coilovers with the new set of tires I got my alignment the same damn day

The problem I have with mad camber is rear end traction. Such a small contact patch ain't helping getting power to the ground. I think my DH mountain bike has more of a contact patch than some of these examples. As explained, in motorsports, it is required to have some negative camber in place but it's never to the degree that's seen on these machines. But, if people want to do it, go right ahead. I appreciate the builds and the effort, just wouldn't do it myself. Also is that car at 2:57 running tyres down to the threads lol.
I have a 2007 chevy equinox and I put 2018 dodge charger sxt plus rims and the back seems fine but the front has a quite gross looking positive camber, I thought of getting bigger tires to increase diameter to be closer to stock but I'm not sure if that could fix the camber regardless, anyone with tips or suggestions please. Reminder its an equinox, not much support so general life hacks would be nice

Stock my car's got 0 camber but I'm running -5 for better performance on the track. It's also a very acceptable camber for the street and daily driving. I only get about 16k on a set of tires but that's not a camber issue, that's because I'm DRIVING my car hard all the time. The thing is, anytime you go to an extreme there's going to be compromises. You guys need to read up on suspension geometry. I cringed at all the half truths you stated about why race cars had negative camber. You weren't entirely wrong but weren't entirely correct either. Back in the day when real race cars (formula cars) ran on bias ply tires, a race car set up for a road course would have negative camber to compensate for roll; it had nothing to do with "lowering the car". The engineer would dial in negative camber during practice until he got even tire pyrometer readings across the tread. I.e.: the engineer was attempting to minimize tread wear and maximize grip by dialing in just enough camber that the tread was, on average, flat to the road while cornering or otherwise under load. Camber adjustments would be different front and rear and side to side depending on the track and the aggressiveness of the driver's driving style.

Here there is basiclly no tuning scene, no tuning shops and if there is a tuned car on the rare occasion its just a 2nd - 7th gen vw golf with fake gti badges. That makes me feel sick. I want to go to usa cuz there i can fullfill my need for tuning, i feel like my life would be incomplete without that. No, i dont want a mk4 supra, i just want to have the option to even buy a tunable car and to buy both cometic and performance parts for it. I want to be part of a community and i want to meet people. I want e85. I want roads as wide as two lanes in europe. I want to not care about gas mileage. You dont even know how much cheper fuel is in the usa compared to europe. America seems like the perfect country for a tuner. Then again here in europe we have things like public transport, free healthcare and a lot less obesity and i dont know if im ready to sacrifice these and a lot of other things. Anyway im still just a stupid ambitious 15yr old so this might just be puberty hitting different. I thruly thank you for reading this comment i just had to speak my mind a little cuz i know nobody in my family would understand my "issue". I feel you man, I’m 15 and looking to get a car soon probably a EG Hatch, I’d say don’t worry about it now because there is no possible way for you to get out of there at 15, maybe you could be the influence to give tuning a pedestal and show other people how to tune where you live, I bet there are more car people where you live than you think, I’d say when you get to a point where you are financially stable when you get older it would probably be best to move to America there is a huge car community here and you are open to do pretty much anything you want.
