I am getting a few messages and comments from people that are saying things like I am a "stingy piece of shit" because of an ASSUMPTION they are making about me not paying for Fouad's lemonade at the time stamp 5:59 . So let me clarify this, around this time when we met Fouad he was on a diet. So he rarely would want to eat at some of the less healthy places like this when we would. In this case, when we arrived he did not want a lemonade after we asked him multiple times and then later after we got ours he changed his mind while I was over a few steps away filming so he bought his own. Would I have paid for it if I saw he did ended up getting one? Of course, I would. Would I pay for every single meal if Fouad allowed me to, YES I WOULD. Do you really think that I would be leaving 30-300% tips in my videos, but not be able to pay for a friend's lemonade? Come on.. Don't make these assumptions. Clearly the people who make those comments are first time viewers of my content as people who watch my videos know that I am not a stingy person. I ask that if you are curious, drop a comment and ask about something rather than throwing rude derogatory comments at me that are truly meaningless because the assumption on the background of the situation is completely wrong. I dont need to include this in vlogs, but Luke and I offered for to pay for anything and everything..we offered every single day of the 2 months to pay for his meals, gas and whatever he wanted. Fouad is one of the most kind hearted people I have ever met and would get in arguments with us to not pay although he still let us some times, he would not easily. Fouad is one of my best friends ever, I would happily do anything for him.
Sorry to hear this. Btw, I've been binge watching your entire journey in Lebanon, and I can agree with what you're saying a 100percent. I would like to add that you aren't at all obliged to pay for anyone else, and I doubt people who are commenting such things rarely, if ever, pay for their friends meals and drinks. Love from 🇱🇧
Did not think this once bro, thank you for showing our Country and experiencing Lebanon in its worst times but finding some fun as a tourist. I always tell people you can visit as a tourist for 2 weeks and have a blast regardless of the conditions. Unfortunately, I'm Israeli, and even though I haven't been living there for so many years, and have a Vietnamese wife (and also a European passport), there's no way in hell, I can go visit this beautiful country and people. Maybe one day, when we'll have peace.
@@monael-chami798 Maybe you should be more concerned with the lack of food, medical supplies and gasoline in Lebanon instead of spreading hate about Israel. Great Video. It’s funny watching your vlog and Luke being quiet most of the time…….lol! As mentioned, there are many refugees in Lebanon of different nationalities and religions from adjacent countries. IMO, the reason there’s a problem there, they just don’t get along, and throw in politics with corruption. You are showing us just how beautiful Lebanon and its people are. I just started following a Celebrity from there, Mika, who did a concert for Beirut.

I doubt what your saying is true. Many Lebanese individuals are this hospitable. I have seen how welcoming my fellow peers can be to even strangers, it was actually normal to after meeting a new individual, to hang out, sleep over, drink, have fun, play games, meet more people, eat well, walk together... It was a really peaceful country with many friendly and hospitable environment. Just cause some people didn't get the chance to meet really nice people doesn't mean that nice people don't exist. I understand your guyses POV. As a Lebanese, I rarely hang out, I am missing out, but when I do meet random individuals, life feels fantastic and you encounter incredible+unforgettable memories along the way. So, I am not skeptical at all about Fouad, and his incentives for doing this. Fouad probably misses having friends and wanted to have the time of his life temporarily.
Lebanon was syrian part before the French's put the border between Lebanon and Syria... it's from the biggest Syria before saikes-byko they'd separated Leb from Syria
@sam rabbai nobody by the history could occupied Syria, Syria it's the heart of Arabian countries if you accept or not even the Tatar and Mongol couldn't destroyed Syria...you are an spiteful because Lebanon are destroyed and thousands of families and 20.000 child's living in streets it maybe you also. I'm sure you can sell your sister to khaligi for living because you don't have any honest feeling. I saw in Abu Dhabi a many lebanaise girls and what they do there. Your gouvernement is a criminals and thiefs especially what happened by the explosion and 150 person where killed for nothing and without war.. look to whom leading your small country before you open your mouth... ottoman wasn't occupants ottoman are Muslims and Muslims don't occupied Muslims.. you have no brain I think...
@@alsourialhor Bro, chill, you have too much hate in your heart. First off, who cares what Lebanon was, second off, many Syrians live in Lebanon and are accepted here, so you're welcome. Third off, yes we do have a corrupt government, and that's why our country has experienced devestating amounts of revolutions. 4th off, don't watch a video that supports living in Lebanon when you clearly hate the country. 5th off, goodbye, and I do agree with the above guy that Syria has experienced a ton of wars over the past decade or so, and the presence of ISIS still in Syria is a danger to every bordering country. Hope Syria goes back to better states, but with behavior such as yours. Your spite will only bring your country to worse states. Bordering countries should take care of one another in order to have a chance of survival on this Earths considering people like you exist. Imagine if people like you exist at huge masses in every country, the destruction that would bring, the world would definetly go back to stone ages, and rightfully so. Please, remove this hate, the only thing your doing with this spread of hate and useless history is a refutation filled with hate to Syrians. Do you really want more people in this world to hate Syrians because of your actions. Imagine if this youtuber was more famous, and more Lebanese read your comment and began hating on Syrians. That would create trouble, refuge Syrians will receive more hate due to your actions. Syrians who read your comment would disagree with your actions as it is one of the causes of destruction to your Syrian name. It is like saying, Oh I hate France since it exploited Lebanon for an extended period of time when in fact it rescued Lebanon from the dumb Ottoman empire. Or that I hate Turkey because they were the heart of the Ottoman empire. When the Ottoman empire dates back to centuries ago. Such grow up, and I think I just found a reason why not to teach history in class. History is a way to teach individuals to hate other countries due to their history that really doesn't in reality account for their current state i.e Lebanon wanted France help, but at the end they grew tired of France leadership over our Lands. People change, history changes, it's time for you to grow up, and act normally, with reason and love for everyone. And yes Muslims can be leaders of other Muslims, just like Christians can be leaders of other Christians, don't forget that Muslims is decided into several religious subsets. For e.g in Lebanon shi3a are south/north(Idk, Idc to know) while suna are in the north/south(again idk). The point is Suna and Shi3a don't go along together, and that's in a country where Suna and Christians, as well as Shi3a and Christians usually communicate with no hate to one another.
@@alsourialhor Hope you learnt something from a fellow Lebanese that loves Syria. I was praying then that your country would be able to win that war that was about to take over the entire Syrian country, and even had Syrian friends at school for a while, and seeing Syrians that still hate Lebanon and its people saddens me. We've done really great things to Syrian people, the little gratefulness you have towards us shows that your ignorant of our help. There were some tough times between us, but isn't it understandable? Would you accept Lebanese refugee in Syria with open arms if a war took place in Lebanon? We did accept you, and it is only reasonable that you'd return the favor someday, right? If you read all this, I appreciate it man, and hope that you drop your spite, and forget about unecessary history.
@@josephdahdouh2725 listen, before you say Syria and Lebanon you have to know that the lebanaise identity made by french gouvernement, and unfortunately 2 small countries they've couldn't even remove the border lines between them. And the sadness when you hear that you can travel between 29 European countries without visa or borderlines and between Syria and Lebanon it's still this border it's making sadness...these borders should be removed and the 2 sides become one side...but unfortunately the leaders in the 2 sides are corrupters and they are agents for other countries...and this is the results as you saw Beirut explosion and 170 killed for nothing..we don't even know who is the responsible... it's long story...no end
