- This RE Bullet came into the family around 1980 or so and belonged to my father. Over the years, it evolved from the slow, scruffy machine he bought for £180 to this genuine 90 mph machine you see here. Hopefully, we might get the odd ride on it soon!
What an absolute thing of beauty, Paul!
You are so blessed to have a Dad like that ☝
Beautiful Bullet! Going to be fun putting some miles on her before winter starts!👍
I had a '61 350 Bullet, one of the best bikes I've ever owned.
Mine was a 6v alternator / points & coil model but was very reliable and would do an indicated 80 mph on the Smiths chronometric speedo.
Fine looking machine, mate. Thanks, dad!!
You sure are a lucky guy, Paul. I'm riding an Indian 350 Meteor at the moment but I'm hoping to get a Redditch Continental GT 250 or a Crusader Sports next year if I can find a decent one. I have lived in Redditch all my life so far, all 77 years of it, and owned a Cruey in my youth and still remember the enjoyment I had riding it. I can't wait to see you riding that beauty, so ride safe and keep the shiny side up.
Excellent! Lots of family ties there and that's wonderful.
Your son has got something to look forward to.
My son is getting my rides when I'm too feeble or dead 😅.
Not too soon I hope 😂😂😂.
Looking forward to the road test of your Dad's Bullet
Always look forward to your videos thanks
Lovely bike Paul,an original cafe racer 👍👍
Looks a real STUNNER! Lucky Boy. Cheers, DINO.
Lovely bike.
Can't wait for the ride video of this beauty
Nice looking bike
Very nice. Thanks.
Let us have some looks on it in the future, Paul.
Take that along the route you recently did on the Trident, but do it clockwise, ie. finish on the downhill twisty section, well, that's what I would have liked to ride. What an inviting bike.
We like that.
what a great looking bike. Pat w
nice front brake.
Effective, too!
@@paulhenshaw4514 details please
@@paulhenshaw4514 Yes I had a Fontana 4 leading shoe on a racing Trident in a featherbed frame and it was great however the bike was heavy and failed to succeed for many reasons mostly too hard to start with a high compression running on alcohol.
Are the bars flipped around to give a pseudo clip on effect?
It used to be a thing of you were a penniless youff riding your 250LC and wanted a go faster look without the expense of a set of Tomaselli's finest. How do I know? I soon reverted to the stock position, much more comfortable for any distance. Looking forward to seeing more of this bike.
Lovely bike Paul your a lucky guy to get that , exhaust looks a little blue though , is it running a little weak I wonder ?
That blue is very old and dates back to when I was tuning it, many years ago!
1972 one year only 4ls leading shoe along with the Gt750. I think Paul said in an earlier vid the Guilari seat probably came from the same Suzuki doner.
Wish I could find one here in the USA. What is the two bolt cover on the end of the magneto gear area of the timing case?
