Martha Washington was also on the front of the 1886 and 1891 $1 silver certificates, with two different backs, before her appearance on the back of the educational note

🏵️ back in the 1960s when I was a kid my Dad had a big coffee can of large cents must have been 4 or 5 hundred pennies he would shine them up with Brasso make em shine up good -- I guess those were the good ole days 🏵️

Can I get two 10's for a 5?😄...Sec of Treasury Andrew W Mellon's father opened Mellon bank in Pittsburgh in 1869,Andrew ran the bank until he became Sec of Treasury,his younger brother Richard would take over for Andrew.And actually their signatures were on circulated notes at the same time,Andrew on 1928 FRNs and Richard on the 1929 Mellon National Banknotes
