I don’t get it. Trickster is so OP and yet everyone complains about it not doing direct damage.. it literally makes your party invincible and turns your pawns into nukes!! Y’all stop sleeping on trickster!
Light in the candle: IF YOU DIDN'T GET THE TWO SCROLLS AT THE END you are supposed to receive two scrolls, one from the girl and one from Eini. but perhaps you did something to the grandparent (hit, kill them) to correct this, hang around until you get the quest to escort Eini or the girl to the village. at the end you'll get flowers. go back to the house and try again (you need all of them to be there in the room) if It still didn't work, try bribing them with gifts. Max out affinity with Eino by giving him Misshapen Eye.
I couldn't figure out how to trigger myrrdin quest got frustrated so I killed him twice brought him back twice but on the second time he disappeared now I can't find him😢
I accidently did the mystic spear hand by exploring and the funny thing is it took me like 5 tries to beat the dragon not because it was hard but because i kept either suddenly getting knocked off the edge and falling to my death or climbing on the dragon right before it started flying and falling to my death
I killed the dragon in the first fight and Sigurd gave the weapon and ability right then and there, I used the balista (took me a few reloads from the last place I slept) the key for me was knowing where it was going to fly up and then hit him before he basically changes from hover to flying away
I did the exact same thing & got the Vocation. However the game glitched, no matter how many times i talked to him, he never gave me the weapon nor skill. Now I’m worried how it’s going to play out when i go to Bakbatahl because i already killed the dragon with the ballista. Hopefully the game doesn’t do me dirty and i can still get at the very least the skill by crossing paths again and just speaking to him.
Did it excatly like in the video for mage/sorcerer Spells. Got a Robe and a Staff, but not a single one of the spells and now the quests are finished -.-
Question. I messed up and accidentally did Spellbound before knowing that I also needed these books for Myrrdin and the Maelstrom spell. Is that another way to get these books? I've heard that there are 2 copies of these book, but I have no idea where they are and can't find anything about the second set of books online. I prefer maelstrom over meteoron from my Dark Arisen days. Anyone know where the secondary books are?

Are you just completely heartless? You are meant to carry the poor old man. Which honestly is rather hard to do. If you drop down a one foot ledge you immediately drop him and it looks brutal for him. Plus there are many fights along the way. You cannot place him down and expect him to wait, oh no! He will want to try and help fight which can be a bit of a stress as you cannot see if he gets hurt or not.
After going through this, the fighter is missable if you proceed too far in story, but on the brighter side, anything missed is obtainable on a second play through
@@PhillyBeatzGames for sure man, if you know the first game, it was more easily exploited in a fact that you can start the game over and over infinitely, and keep all progress and gold, so say you know where some the best most expensive stuff is that you can speed rush to, grab a bunch of stuff worth several million gold within an hour, and just start a new run and grab them all over again, like port crystals, I had like 50, and more then a billion gold, but also the game is as about the replayability factor and your character building as the game itself, seems the dialed back on letting us restart at any point we want, at least for now, but at least I know if I screw up bad, and I have, I got dragon plagued lol, and I advanced my story and lost a lot of quests, I can get everything back on a second or 5th or 6th run, at least that seems the devs are keeping that aspect in tact
@@vDorgengoa in the first one as soon as you follow the cart with the monster head to the main city you can start over at any time, in dd2 doesn’t seem to be the case, but everything you have done, obtained will carry over into a new playthrough, and after that, you should be powerful enough you can power through the main story to make it to a new game as many times as you want, so as I mentioned above, if you screwed up hard, don’t sweat it, you can reach end and start over will all progress and fresh storyline
I swear Capcom made this game so buggy, I've unlocked the maester abilities for Fighter, Rogue, Archer, and Mage/Sorc...but I can't equip any of them because they're not in my vocation skills list to even equip them. Another bug for me is that none of the grimoires could be made into forgeries either, so I was forced to hand in the real ones and reload my inn save to give to the other to see if the ultimates unlocked after I used the maester skill scrolls...of course none did. At this point I'm about to just stop playing and wait for them to fix their garbage.

How do I get pawns to nuke
When you fight Beren to complete his storyline, feel free to just run out of bounds to end it. The outcome does not matter.
It does. If you win you don’t have to go all the way to Batahl to get the master skill for warrior . But yeah , doesn’t matter
Also, when you escort Gaulstafr (the old guy), just pick him up and carry him. It is much faster.

For the sorcerer myrrdin (sp?) I just went as a thief wearing the courtly attire and that was enough. Dunno if you need sorc actually unlocked or not.
You don’t. Just need a certain amount of magic stat and the Courtney attire. That’s it.

I used a wakestone on him and ran away since he was aggressive and slept came back next day he forgot I had stolen from him.

You have to get the note and if that doesnt work, make sure the name of the quest activated. Hope that helps!

Can you have your pawn learn these or do they learn it when you learn it?
pawns learn the maister skills if you learn it tho pawn can change into only 6 vocations
they learn when you do
