I just listened to Moshe’s story on Mayim Bialik’s podcast . One of the best interviews I’ve ever heard. He’s so interesting, so introspective. He’s really done the work. I can see how easy it would be to fall in love with him.
I live in Minneapolis and he is spot on. The reason I love it is that a lot of drama is filtered out because the cold keeps people from moving here in droves. When summer rolls around, everyone goes nuts but at least we have peace for half the year 🤣 also it’s a very beautiful, liberal, arts-supportive place, at least in the city… and it’s actually affordable to live here. But most people can’t handle the winters. They are challenging, but for me, it’s worth it. I love it here.
Another perspective for both of your callers is, just enjoy the experience of having the relationships they had. We are always told that love is possessive, rather than it being an experience in our journeys of life.
Healthy monogamy is indeed easier, no drama, more trust, if you never tried, you should! With a good and honest person that will respect your individuality, of course
Tom is hilarious, I’ve been watching the pod since it started and this is easily one of my top 5 favorite episodes!! I’m gonna check out tickets for The State!! ❤❤❤
In the 12 step fellowship SLAA there is literature on a great tool available for anyone there called “a sober dating plan”. Even if you don’t think you qualify or fit in as an SLA still read up on that and consider going about dating in the ways laid out, lots of safety, discretion and dignity for both parties in there!!
If it weren’t for the people who overwhelmingly hate women there making laws, I would move to Wyoming. It looks so beautiful and has so many nature reserves and National parks. 23&me only tests South America indigenous people so many of the North American tribes aren’t tested. Many of us have “unknown “ as a percentage that may be partly that.
The important fact about DNA that most people are unaware of is that a male can NEVER pass on any of his mother's DNA, Period. However a daughter can share both sides of her parental DNA sources to her offspring. But only her female offspring can pass on any of her maternal DNA, while a male child will share in her DNA lineage, he can only pass on DNA he gets from his mom's father and his own father(as well as his own novel paternal genes) to his offspring. So females DO pass on both parents DNA, but a females portion of a lineage stops at any male offspring. Or another way to say it is that no child can recieve ANY genes from the grandmother on the fathers side, but WILL recieve genes from the grandmother on the mothers side. Conversely, all offspring WILL recieve genes from both grandads. So you share nothing in common with your dad's mother. But Do inherit the traits of your mom's mother.. And if you are female, then you will pass traits of your mom's mother unto your offspring. But if you are male, you will not pass on ANY traits of your mom's mother to your offspring. I'm sure there is a way better way to explain this. Hope it makes sense.
The memory of Natasha running away from the police has been burned into my brain for the past 20 years. Also, Happy 20th Reno 911!
Mine too....

When the guests are this good, forget about the calls.
Lieutenant Dangle!! I had no idea his name was Tom Lennon. Love this guy! Want to see more stuff from him.

THE STATE!!! My favorite sketch was HORMONES!!! So amazing.
Hormones aren’t the thing making you jealous. FYI. It’s insecurity

Best guest in this entire podcast series by far.
“Now it’s just mostly me and the cats.”
Aren't Kim K and Cher Armenian?
I really like Natasha’s outfit

I laughed so much this episode. So good 😂👏
Honestly I’ve been shouldered in the neck from hugs. It sucks
What does Natasha write down in her notes 😄
So curious. But I think it might be time-marks for when she’s liking something (might be a stopwatch next to her notepad).
aahhhhhhh The Prince of Lake Geneva

I was so mad when Tom said “NO weird Al is not Canadian he’s from California!” So loud and wrong lol
Every relationship is one day at a time
Dear Honeymooners: Where can I find my own Tom Lennon? 😍
Do you know who lives in Minnesota?
Sisqo.
I kid you not.
But he still reps Balti-more! 🙌🏼 Dru Hill 4lyfe
32:07 encapsulates monogamy
43:03 should be the clip for socials just sayin
Um they both kept cutting off Natasha! And the punchline being about Natasha’s tiny body…is not very original. Men aren’t very funny 😄
Is Tom on something? Hard to follow and fidgeting constantly
Anxiety
Do I sense some awkwardness here? Did Natasha used to date Tom? She's sitting unusually close to Moshe. Just wondering..
