The reason shorter people are often actors because they take up less room in the camera frame and therefore cinematographers have more flexibility to design the shots. Also you can throw a shorter person on an apple box or closer in frame to cheat their height to be taller but not as easily with a tall person.
I'm DYING! Do y'all remember the Hunter boot trend a few years ago? I struggle with cankles, and I literally got them stuck on my foot when I was trying them on at Nordstrom, so I HAD to tell the people I loved them so much I wanted to wear them out. I was mortified!!!! My step-dad had to rip them off of my feet, and I asked my mom to return them, so I didn't have to face any of the employees again!!!
