    Might have to try that. Just got my first Cnc. Quite the learning curve.

      It was actually pretty easy! Hope this video helps :)

      @@Meyerwoodworks been looking at parts overnight. Gonna do it in mine. Thanks for the video.

    Thanks for the video! Can you share the thread dimensions for the four mounting screws?

      Mounting screws are included, M4-M6 would be my guess though.

    you did not need double-acting cylinders, you could have used single-acting with spring return

    This is a great setup! What material is the white part of your bench? It looks so clean!

      The plenum is made from HDPE.

      I thought it was acrylic sheet.

    How hard can you slam pieces into the pins before there is deflection? I typically slide full sheets pretty hard…

    • @Meyerwoodworks
      @Meyerwoodworks  Год назад

      The shafts are fairly thin. If I were doing it again I would look for/get thicker shafts. It's not really a problem, but if you push too hard the pin will get "stuck" and won't go down so you need to push the sheet back just a hair. Overall it hasn't been an "actual" issue.

      I want to add that since this comment, I have added blocking behind each pin, super simple and there is ZERO deflection now.

      @Meyerwoodworks can you please share the details on the blocks? Also, what pneumatic motors you’re using ? Thanks

      @@NguyenHaiNhi75 Links are above for all of the parts used. Since this video I did add blocking behind each pin to stop them from deflecting.

      @@Meyerwoodworks Thanks for sharing the links! For clarification, you said you are using the 20mm bore but the piston doesn't seam to be larger in diameter than 10mm. You mentioned in the comments that if you were going to do it again, you would get a larger bore. What would you suggest?
