It's ideal for those going to different terminals.I use to go to manchester airport quite regular,and know it quite well.I normally come off the M56 at junction 6 if heading towards manchester for wilmslow&macclesfeild,keep in the right hand lane of slip way,go under the motorway bridge and turn left at traffic lights this road will take you to all terminals also.
There is a free drop off at Radisson Blu but you have to walk to the terminals via a tunnel it takes about 5-10 minutes, it's a good option to drop off your family for free

are you saying that the Radison Blu hotel itself has a free drop off area (presumably in its car park)? Or is the free drop off NEXT/ NEAR to the Radison Blu? I've never seen Radison offering a free drop off so I think you could be confused here. The hotels around the airport don't generally offer stuff like this, hence why they all have barriers and warning signs of £100 fines etc.
Vehicle handover and return worked like a charm. Top-notch experience with the vehicle handover and return - smooth as silk. The blower was answered lickety-split when we returned, and our ride was waiting like an obedient pup in the EzyBook Parking car park. Not a spot of bother, mate.

Thanks for that. Last time I used the free dropoff area it was closed off for repairs = NO BUS! 15min+ walk. Cant do that this time as I have my bike-box. Well try the 5 mins for a fiver. Cheers - may all your pickups be high tipping.

Yeah mate if your over 2m you can pick up at t3 drop off but you have to speak to the staff who's there to get permission

When you have airport pick up or drop paying them £5 and £6 are a pain but it feels ok you know the customer is paying that and not you 😅

fantastic video for us new private hire drivers. Just a couple of questions, the bit where you turn left and left again off the motorway, can private hire drivers wait there for free? (and are toilets there or just in the airport itself?). And the parts that share a fiver, do you have to physically get out of your car and park up to pay the machine or can you pay at the barrier on the way out? best regards Matt. Great channel
Thanks mate the private hire waiting area is a couple of quid but max 3 hours if you go over you get charged alot and yeah you can pay on exit at man air and thanks 😁👍

Love your videos. Very helpful. Can you tell me something. If I turn up at T2 multi story car park to pick someone up from arrivals where do you pay to park on the bottom floor. Will the barriers let me in to park having not pre booked. It's just I want to walk into arrivals to meet my friend
Thanks 😁 and T2 West pick up point you can just drive in, grab a token from the barrier and park up then walk to arrivals meet them walk back to the car and when you leave put a token in the barrier when driving out an pay via card

Hi don't think so mate but terminal 3 has a multi story you can pull into and you could walk him over to the terminal and see him off don't know the charge like 👍👍 when you go t3 drop off turn right into the multistorey and park up or ask one of the stewards

I have to pick up at terminal 2 a while back and I'm sure it was a multistory carpark , my head was proper up my arse as I thought you just went in were you showed , but ended up driving round ,not a good experience.
Got a flight in June from T1 I'm looking to book T1 parking for 3 days but all looks to complicated to get to parking or if I end up at the wrong one and stuff.. Am I just over thinking it? Is it quiet easy to park up or would you not recommend parking at the airport...

I've driven to Leeds and Heathrow to park. But only ever got a taxi to Manchester. How easy is it to drive into official parking for T2 from Leeds?
I know I can't pick up from t1 drop off but could I drop off and pick up from t1 short stay without been fined just makes it easier for my passenger

What do you do if the costa is closed as im picking up at 22:20 and it says it closes at 20:00. Any advice would be great thabk you.

There's loads of risky places for free but just pay the 6 quid haha why risk a big fine ha

Do the passengers pay for the drop off/pick up fees separately or are they included in the Uber price already built in? £5 for 5 mins is scandalous mate, understand they can’t have cars laying up everywhere but got to be a better way of managing that rather than charging through the nose and penalising the majority for picking up and dropping off they’re printing money ✈️ 💷🏧 Liverpool the same?

@7:14 You mention "T1 pick-up only, you do not drop off there because you get shouted at!" Is that actually true because the signs at the entrance say "Short Stay & Pick Up" which suggests that it is OK to park there for drop off as well? The reason I ask is that I need to drop someone off for an outbound flight but they need to be accompanied into the terminal to assist with bags and check-in etc. That wouldn't be possible at the normal drop-off which only allows 5-10 minutes and you can't leave your vehicle unattended. The short stay car park looks like the only available option to me.
Yes I need answet to that too, please. Dropping off my wife's mum there but have to park for an hour to help her with bags, check-in and stuff at T3. is short stay an option in t3 multi storey ?
@@tachyon108 I don’t know the position at T3 but it turned out to be perfectly acceptable at T1 so I imagine it would be the same at T3. I would recommend previewing the approach and signage on Google street view beforehand to make it less confusing on the day.
@@HarryR1 I returned from the airport and yes you're right, same thing in T3 as in T1. £12 for just over an hour is a bit much though

I gotta pick up my 17yo daughter from T1 at 1am. Been going round in circles on Google maps to work out where to pick up. So I need to go into the terminal to collect her. So help for me best place to park, safely for that time of night/morning be grateful. My goto Airport drive is normally Leeds.

Normally t3 drop off you have to speak to the staff tho when your in there and you have to be over height tho
That's why I don't do Manny drops, Speke isn't bad so no problems there 👍
