We were saying that we were protesting peacefully so the police shouldn't engage forcefully. Kenya is safe, that's what we call domestic issues in the families. We have to clean our nation and get rid of all the corrupt leaders.
The people who were missing, abducted and massacred during the protest were found in a swamp inside sacks today. Kenyans are still agitated and angry with the goverment.
We also have a very bad history of voting on political waves based on tribal bias but that has only seen us doing worse off. I hope this season is a wakeup call for us to do better as we vote in future. Focus on character and competence as opposed to tribal waves.
We are currently going through what we call the third liberation. This can be synonymous to what civil rights movement of the 60s in the US when blacks were fighting for equal economic opportunities except for us it is against the political class.

There was an interview the "big man" did with the media as a round table talk. A video clip of a 12 year old who was shot 8 times in the back was played to him and his 1st reaction was, 'he is alive right?". Big up to everyone who is standing up for justice. A lot of promises were made during the campaign period and even after inauguration. He promised that it was a new dawn and that our security forces would never be used in extra judicial killings. Kenyans have a right to demand for fulfilment of those promises. If they did not mean it they should never have made those promises.
On the first day of the protests my son whose 28years said to me that he wanted to go so I made him lunch, prayed and hoped he would be ok out there because as you see it was rough.... some people lost their life's
We are the people.. I pay 30% of my salary as PAYE then spend 16% of the rest as VAT but i don't get to see the value am glad the world have realized that we are true to the cause....

After dropping the Finance Bill, the president fired his entire cabinet (with the exception of one, which are also pushing to get fired) yesterday. We wanted more competent people. People are still pushing for more stuff. We're going to throw out a lot of the members of parliament (like US congressmen/women). Ultimately, many people want the president himself to go. Almost 75% of the population in Kenya is under 30, just like in most of Sub Saharan Africa.
It's bn a while since I watched this lovely couple. You have to visit the country after we are done cleaning it( Kenya's under renovation😂😂). They are saying "We are peaceful" so that the police don't use violence against them but they still did and lives were lost. Imagine a govt encouraging it's people to leave the country for jobs but won't send their kids out for the same jobs?😮The president dropped the punitive finance bill, fired his cabinet secretaries but we walk up yesterday to find dead bodies stacked in sacks and dumped in a quarry. On Tuesday we are back to the streets in RAGE and COURAGE coz of this. They've bn massacring youths in numbers. Murderers can't lead us. We are rejecting corrupt and arrogant leaders, killings, IMF, World bank and USA Embassy but not our black people.
We’re calm, accommodative people so long as you don’t provoke us, and when we fight amongst ourselves don’t be involved, we join forces to fight you 💪💪💪
Growing up in previous demonstrations where goons would hurl stones and vandalize, i must say i'm super proud of these younger generation. They're articulating OUR RIGHTS! We were quiet, but they're speaking up. Former regimes would threaten and keep oppressing the citizens. FYI, That's teargas being sprayed off the trucks, not water. It irritates the eyes, and throat causing difficulty breathing. That's why they're coughing
Gen Z came up with chants like 'We are Peaceful', 'Ruto must go', Zacheaus [tax collector aka President]lied to us'. They use slogans like 'Tribless, Partyless, Fearless'. Our Nation has never seen such fearless and determined freedom fighters since Mau Mau and other freedom fighters that fought for our independence.
Am from Kenya and hey guys thank you very much for putting out this out there for the world to see. But our biggest problem is IMF, yooooo they should keep off
Hustler was coined from Ruto's (the president) campaign slogan in which he referred to him self as a hustler meaning he came from nothing to something through hard work. His political opponent came from a wealthy family. So, many people from humble backgrounds resonated with the slogan. However, they claim he has turned his back on them.
Kenyans are not against paying taxes but the money is wasted by leadership they live large while people cannot afford a meal an example the president used 2milliion dollars to hire a private jet when he came to the US that is money which can build hospitals and furnish it with enough medicine and many other things
Gen z made Ruto dissolve the Govt yesterday, today the IG of the police resigned cause of extra judicial killings tomorrow is another day with change . Bado mapambano...💪💪
Nigeria government need to stay focus and move the country forward, because if we start in Nigeria, the whole world will kw that Nigerians are real woke
Hustlers are Kenyans who work hard. They could be self employed or employed but need to have another 'hustle' on the side to make ends meet or to achieve their goals. Hustlers are strugglers. The President promised them a bottom up Government so their hard work pays off, since many hustlers work hard but have nothing to show for it.
He campaigned on the hustler tag, saying the ones with blue collar jobs are the ones wholl build the country and hed essentially make the economy better. Only to do the opposite. He even had a wheelbarrow mounted in his home county to represent hard work. He claimed the former president who was campaigning against him was of dynasty level and the few who supported were well off and didn't care about the poor.
