We also have a very bad history of voting on political waves based on tribal bias but that has only seen us doing worse off. I hope this season is a wakeup call for us to do better as we vote in future. Focus on character and competence as opposed to tribal waves.

A lot of promises were made during the campaign period and even after inauguration. He promised that it was a new dawn and that our security forces would never be used in extra judicial killings. Kenyans have a right to demand for fulfilment of those promises. If they did not mean it they should never have made those promises.

People are still pushing for more stuff. We're going to throw out a lot of the members of parliament (like US congressmen/women). Ultimately, many people want the president himself to go. His political opponent came from a wealthy family. So, many people from humble backgrounds resonated with the slogan. However, they claim he has turned his back on them.
