- As we get ready to say goodbye to summer and hello to autumn, I thought I'd offer you a few cozy fantasy books to end the season!
Pet Clip of the Day: Ezio loves to play with his bumblebee; I think that it may be his favorite toy. (And he's quite good at it, too!) 🐝

Wow I really like the choices for end of summer reads as always love the video love your channel 😊
Thank you so much!! 😊
I haven’t read Ella Enchanted in SO long! I remember watching the movie and hating that they didn’t have the centaur!
Oh, I know! As I said, I watched the movie first, so that still holds a special place in my heart, but the book is definitely so much better! 😊 I don't understand the desire to change so much of the story.
@@AubreyLikestoRead Agreed! I’ll never understand how they choose what to keep in and what to leave out in adaptations. 😓
A couple of books you might really enjoy... Redwall by Brian Jacques. Think The Wind in the Willows but with swords/castle/knight vibes. Also, The Golden Compass by Philip Pullman. This is a young girl saving children in a fantastical world with private schools, talking animals, witches, gypsies, and scientific imagination. Both books are the first in a series.
Thank you so much for the recommendations! I have actually read both of these books, but I haven't yet continued either series. I would love to, though! Your comment reminded me of how much I enjoyed them both! 😊
@AubreyLikestoRead Awesome! I'll have to dig deeper back in my memory. lol Hmmm... How about The Adventurer's Guide to Successful Escapes by Wade Albert White. It's got young heroine on an unexpected epic quest with consequences to be faced if she can't solve the riddles vibes.
@@originalslushey Oooo, I've never heard of that one. It sounds interesting; I'll have to look into that!! Thank you so much! 😄
