this is one of the best oasis gig in my book . mega performance , not the best liam voice but overall the band's performance is brilliant . the guitars are ace , tony mccarroll is on the blaze with his drumming and the setlist is very rare man !!! great gig !!!
over the years I've listened to a lot and I mean a lot of oasis gigs and this is right up there. I only saw them live 3 times but this 1 beats those hands down
Daniel Smith. although I got into oasis in 95 with morning glory the first time I saw them was Bolton reebok arena in 2000. then hull arena 2002 and then Bridlington spa in 2009. all of them very special gigs but for me the earlier gigs like this 1 really do it 4 me.
Liam is drunk and probably off his head on drugs, not to mention the fact he smokes about 100 a day. The throat will get bad now and again, fair play to him for blasting through it
Theyre great, i just wonder why Liam forced his voice to be rough. In 1994, his voice was golden. The pure essence of britpop. Then he just decides to make it rough? That being said, this is probably the best live version of Slide Away Liam has done...
He didn't have any real training, which is fine when they started off only doing a handful of gigs, but meant he had to force his way through songs as he was required to sing more and more and more. Plus the drugs, alcohol and cigarettes wouldn't have helped his vocal cords either.
Slide in baby !!!! ❤
Raw, unadulterated Oasis. The lyrics, the vocals, the instruments. Glad I was there. Can't see it being repeated.
Couldn't agree more...there needs to be another band or bands like this.
Lucky bastard.
