You're absolutely right! Your success is determined by your skills, dedication, and hard work rather than just the name of the college you attended. Your story is a great example of how one's capabilities can shine through, regardless of the college's ranking

t's great to see your determination in pursuing further education at top institutes! Here's a general guideline for the CAT percentiles you might consider aiming for, given your academic background and goals: IIMs (BLACKI): For IIMs Bangalore (IIMB), Lucknow (IIML), Ahmedabad (IIMA), Calcutta (IIMC), and Kozhikode (IIMK), a CAT percentile of around 98+ could be a good target, given your educational background and the competition. IIT Bombay: To aim for a place at IIT Bombay's management program, you might target a CAT percentile in the range of 97+. I IIT Delhi: Similarly, for IIT Delhi, aiming for a CAT percentile in the range of 96+ could be a reasonable goal.

IIM TAG HAVE NO VALUE UNTIL UNLESS CANDIDATE HAVE SKILLS OR KNOWLEDGE, THAT'S WHY TODAY SECTOR SPECIFIC MBA LIKE MBA HEALTHCARE MBA PHARMACEUTICAL IS IN DEMAND... RISINGYOUTHTALKS 😊
Absolutely, @risingyouthtalks! You're absolutely right that the value of an IIM tag, or any MBA degree for that matter, is greatly enhanced when coupled with strong skills and knowledge. The demand for sector-specific MBAs like healthcare and pharmaceutical management is a testament to the importance of specialized expertise in today's dynamic job market. Keep spreading these insights! 😊
If someone wants to make a career in High Finance like Investment Banking, PE, VC then IIM ABC and JBIMS tag really matters. My cousin he cleared his CA all in first attempt was not able to get MO/FO roles in IB despite being from MDI. He got into HDFHe had to leverage his networks as we are from Mumbai there are many finance folks in our locality and they themselves says that IIT+IIMABC+CA ranks really matter while getting a good job in IB industry. Later he got a job in PE through networks at low pay as compared to his co workers. Before his PE job he was in talk with a President of JP Morgan for referral and he refused as he is not from IIMABC or JBIMS. That president was an JBIMS alum. High finance roles really need IIMABC tag
Sirf in finance jahan roles he kafi limited hai. Core pe/vc/investment Banking mei pure india mei log 2000 nai honge milake. Core-core. Isliye wahan competition ko dekhke more the merrier wala concept applies. In other jobs utna effect nai hoga
Sir Ive graduated from DU(BA economics) in 2018. After which I started preparing for civil services n bank exams....till date I ve not been able to crack any exam. I wish to proceed with cat 2023.... 10th 84 12th 81 Grad 72 percent. Sir any suggestions??
It sounds like you've had quite the journey so far, and it's great to see your determination to pursue CAT 2023. Remember, each step you've taken, including your graduation in BA Economics and your efforts towards civil services and bank exams, has added valuable experience and skills to your repertoire. Your academic track record, with consistent performance in 10th, 12th, and graduation, reflects your commitment and capability. While cracking exams can be challenging, it's important to keep a positive outlook and continue refining your approach. Here are a few suggestions: Reflect and Learn: Take some time to analyze your past attempts. Identify areas where you can improve, whether it's in exam strategy, time management, or specific subject areas. Structured Preparation: With CAT 2023 in mind, create a well-structured study plan. Allocate time for each section and focus on both strengthening your strong areas and improving your weaker ones. Mock Tests: Regularly take mock tests to simulate the exam environment and identify your progress. Analyze your performance to refine your strategy.
Pursuing ACCA after completing CA can indeed be a good option, as it expands your international exposure and deepens your expertise in finance. Pairing this with an MBA in International Finance can be a strategic move, as it provides a broader business perspective and enhances your management skills. This combination can open doors to global opportunities and leadership roles. Just ensure your career goals align with these qualifications. Best of luck with your plans! 🌟
Thank you so much for your kind words and support! I'm thrilled to hear that you find value in my career counseling content. It's my goal to provide helpful guidance to BBA aspirants and assist them on their educational and professional journey
I understand that preparing for the Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning (DILR) as well as the Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension (VARC) sections can be challenging. Here are some tips to help you improve in these areas: For Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning (DILR): Practice Regularly: DILR requires consistent practice. Solve a variety of puzzles, graphs, charts, and logical reasoning problems to build your skills. Understand Concepts: Focus on understanding the underlying concepts. This will help you identify the right approach for different types of questions. Develop Logical Thinking: Train your mind to think logically and critically. Practice solving problems without the pressure of time initially, and then work on your speed. Time Management: During practice sessions, practice solving sets of questions within a specific time frame. Time management is crucial during the actual exam. Analyze Mistakes: After attempting practice sets, review your mistakes. Understand where you went wrong and how you can improve your approach next time. Learn Techniques: There are various techniques for solving different types of DILR problems. Study different methods and find the ones that work best for you. For Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension (VARC): Read Regularly: Reading newspapers, articles, and diverse materials can improve your vocabulary and reading comprehension skills. Practice Reading Comprehension: Practice reading comprehension passages and answering questions based on them. Focus on understanding the main idea, tone, and details. Expand Vocabulary: Work on improving your vocabulary by learning new words each day. Contextual learning is effective for remembering new words. Understand Grammar and Syntax: A good grasp of grammar and sentence structure will help you answer questions related to sentence correction and completion. Practice Parajumbles: Practice solving parajumble questions. Pay attention to logical flow and coherence of sentences. Mock Tests: Take full-length mock tests to simulate the actual exam conditions. This will help you manage time and assess your performance.
I am applying in IIMs and ISB. Already have 2 year PGDM degree with 9 years of experience in sales, financial products. Now to start an investment advisory firm need to know skills of entrepreneurship, product management, branding. Is it ok to mentin interview that I will work for 5 years after IIM then start my firm?
Through out the video you have mentioned that IIM tag has value for many reasons then why such a thumbnail??? Its good to spread awareness about old and good instiutions for the aspiring students but not putting other institution down...every institution give you fair enough chances to prove yourself....the candidate should have the potential to prove themselves
New IIMs were established just a few years ago and they are progressing rapidly. Give them 15 more years. They will suppress all the non-iims. Ager ek bacche ko do din me bara hone bolega to kaise hoga.

Hello sir Currently I'm studying BBA (finance) i want to become a Investment banker . Which iim best for finance or any other colleges like :( Fms ,XlRi .etc ) and best placement Plz reply
Hi sir I did my graduation in 2019, BCOM Accounting and Finance. I completed my MCOM from IGNOU in 2022 December. I have 14 months of teaching experience in a private school from Jan 2020 to Feb 2021. Working as India Post GDS since August 2022 till present. My percentage in 10th- 93.67 12th - 92.60 Graduation - 77.57 CGPA is 6.27 out of 7 PG - 66 My graduation was not from any top tier school. Its only a normal college. I am much concerned about it, that graduation was not from so good college. Will I face any problem during interviews in any top MBA colleges like IIM, SRCC, DSE, FMS etc?
Aise to engineering me IIT tag bhi khatam krdo😅😅 because many private engineering colleges or state government colleges are getting 90% of similar jobs as IITs like BITS, IIIT Hyderabad and Bangalore etc. Yes it's all about students but college also play a great role. Because even may IITs and NITs have 60 year old MBA programs but they have relatively less recognised than even Baby IIMs.
Abhishek Sir Nmims mumbai, As I'm from Mumbai City,, An NMIMS University,,is just front of my College Mithibai College as you know best an famous college in mumbai an India for graduation,, So NMIMS is famous for Which MBA specialization an job profile an average package
For your goal of becoming an Investment banker, you have excellent options. In terms of IIMs, both IIM Ahmedabad and IIM Bangalore have strong finance programs and impressive placements. IIM Calcutta also offers valuable finance courses. Beyond IIMs, FMS Delhi is a standout choice with its finance focus and reputed placements. XLRI Jamshedpur, known for HR, also boasts a robust finance program. When selecting a college, consider the finance curriculum, faculty expertise, and industry connections to make an informed choice that aligns with your career aspirations. Best of luck! 🌟
Hii bhaiya!!!! Thankyou for such these videos ❤ I am preparing for cat 23 10th-83.5% 12th-84.4% Grad-bsc final year in 2024 with approx 70% How much percentile to get top colleges like BLACKI FMS MDI etc
Bhaiya mera 10th and 12th percentage 84.6 and 90.20 hai. And 12th k baad 2 year drop hai due to the preparation of IIT. Can you please tell me will i be able to get iim a,b,c calls?? If yes, then how much percentile will it be required for me to get into the iim a,b,c ??
Hey brother, I have 4.5 years of work ex as SAP MM IS-RETAIL CONSULTANT I have interest in Operations and SCM. Thinking of doing MBA through GMAT (still not sure of doing it from India or abroad) I have not been able to find any resources if my work ex will be helpful in pursuing MBA Another question is with my years of experience am I correct preparing for GMAT as most of the Indian colleges and IITs which specialises in operations have cutoff for CAT It would be really helpful if you can share your thoughts on my queries 😊
Certainly, - **Work Experience:** Your SAP consulting experience can be valuable in an MBA, even if not directly in operations/SCM. - **GMAT vs. CAT:** With your experience and aspirations, GMAT is suitable, offering global options. - **India vs. Abroad:** Decide based on goals, finances, and preferences; both offer relevant programs. - **Preparation:** With your experience, GMAT prep is justified for competitive programs. - **Research:** Explore programs valuing your background, and connect with alumni for insights.
Hi. I'm a female engineer (not CS/IT/EEE/ECE), general category with decent-good academic profile and academic diversity. What percentile do I need to get a call and shortlisted for IIM Udaipur, Ranchi, Raipur, Indore and Vishakapatnam plz let me know. Thank you
I have one query, I had worked in my uncle's sole proprietorship for 2 yrs and I have work ex letter with official stamp and signature on it but meri salary cash me aati thi so is it valid??
Absolutely! SIOM Nashik, also known as Symbiosis Institute of Operations Management, is well-regarded for its operations management programs. It's a specialized B-school with a focus on operations, supply chain, and related fields. Many students have found SIOM's curriculum and faculty expertise to be valuable for building a career in operations. If you find CAT challenging as a General category candidate (GEM), you might also consider other entrance exams like XAT or CMAT, which are accepted by SIOM and various other B-schools. Remember, cracking an exam is just one part of the equation. Your profile, achievements, and interviews also play a significant role in securing admission. Research thoroughly, talk to current students if possible, and ensure SIOM aligns with your career goals. Best of luck with your aspirations! 🌟
Bhaiya i got 95 in 10th 89 in 12th 2nd year btech 8.2 cgpa but tier 3... How much should i target?? I m obc And should i do cfa lvl 1/lvl 2 and doing RUclips a bit....will that help me??? For summer placements Plzz bhaiya help
It's great to see your enthusiasm and ambition. Your academic performance is commendable, and your background in engineering combined with your interest in finance and RUclips could open up various opportunities for you. Here are some insights to help you navigate your situation: 1. Summer Placements: Since you're targeting summer placements, it's crucial to focus on both your academic performance and your extracurricular activities. Your 8.2 CGPA in the second year of your B.Tech is a good start, and you should aim to maintain or improve this performance in your subsequent semesters. 2. Tier 3 College: While you're in a tier 3 college, don't let that discourage you. Companies are increasingly looking for candidates with a mix of skills, including technical skills and soft skills. Engage in projects, internships, and competitions related to your field to enhance your practical knowledge and stand out from the crowd. 3. CFA Levels: Pursuing CFA Level 1 or Level 2 is an excellent idea if you're interested in finance. CFA is highly regarded in the finance industry and can boost your credentials. However, keep in mind that the CFA exams are challenging and require dedicated preparation. They can demonstrate your commitment to finance and might make you more attractive to financial firms during placements. 4. RUclips Channel: Running a RUclips channel can be beneficial in multiple ways. It showcases your communication skills, creativity, and ability to manage and market content. It's also a unique aspect of your profile that can help you stand out during interviews and placements.
@@theiimguy thanku bhaiya for all the insights and advices...i wil definitely follow it..and the thing is i am actually interested in finance....so gotta work really hard..from now in all aspects

Sir i have scored 82 % in 10th 79.8 % in 12th Currently doing graduation I am from sc category Interested to do MBA how much percentile needed to convert top b schools like FMS or IIM (BLACKI)
It's great to see your interest in pursuing an MBA and aiming for top B-schools like FMS and IIMs. Your academic record is already quite impressive, and being from the SC category provides certain advantages in terms of reservations. For schools like FMS Delhi and IIMs, while specific cutoffs may vary from year to year, generally, a competitive percentile would be around: FMS Delhi: Typically, a CAT percentile of around 85+ for SC is considered competitive for SC candidates. IIMs (BLACKI): A percentile of around 85+ might be a good target to increase your chances of admission.
Thank you sir right now I am in 2nd year and improving my skills. I've been following you from the last 2 months you're content is great you Will surely shine in the future
hello bhaiya 10th 71% 12th 70% doing BBA but have 2 year gap after 12th is there any chance of getting FMS or XLRI ? and does gap years after 12th affect placement ?

Thank you so much for your kind words and support! It's wonderful to hear that you have big dreams and aspirations. Pursuing your education at TISS sounds like a great plan, and I hope you achieve all your goals. Remember, hard work and dedication go a long way. Best of luck on your journey!
Transitioning from a science background to business is a feasible and increasingly common path. Pursuing a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) can be a good choice to start your journey in the business world. Here are some pieces of advice to consider: 1. Assess Your Interests: It's great that you have an interest in business, but before making a decision, take some time to understand which aspects of business intrigue you the most. Business is a broad field encompassing various disciplines like marketing, finance, management, entrepreneurship, and more. Knowing your specific interests will help you choose the right specialization within your BBA program. 2. Research BBA Programs: Look into the BBA programs offered by different universities. Check the curriculum, faculty, reputation, and opportunities for internships or practical experience. Some universities might have stronger connections with the business community, which could be beneficial for networking and future job prospects.
Certainly, your suggestion is noted! I'll consider creating videos comparing CPA, CFA, ACCA with Indian courses. Thank you for your input! Stay tuned for upcoming content.
Sir is it worth doing mba from colleges like MET Mumbai, Chetana Mumbai, Indira Pune, Sies Mumbai, Coep Pune, etc if I am BBA grad with an year gap and 9/9/9 profile or is it worth taking another drop and try some good colleges??
Choosing the right path for your education and career is a significant decision. The worth of pursuing an MBA from colleges like MET Mumbai, Chetana Mumbai, Indira Pune, Sies Mumbai, COEP Pune, or considering another drop to aim for more prestigious colleges depends on various factors. Here are some points to consider: Your Career Goals: Define your career aspirations and what you aim to achieve with an MBA. Different colleges have varying strengths and networks that align with specific industries or roles. Research which colleges have strong connections to your desired field. College Reputation: While the colleges you mentioned might not be as widely known as some top-tier institutions, they could still offer quality education and opportunities. Research their faculty, alumni network, placement records, and industry connections. Profile Improvement: If you have a year gap in your BBA and a 9/9/9 profile, it's worth considering whether you can use this time to enhance your profile. This could involve gaining relevant work experience, building skills, or pursuing certifications that align with your goals.
MBA in Data Analytics is valuable for both engineers and non-engineers. Engineers bring technical skills, while non-engineers add diverse perspectives. Choose based on your career interests and goals.
sir i am not criticizing you but what i am just trying to ask i have seen numerous videos about iim but no body have stated facts like this the way you are doing.... so m just little confused
Absolutely, @navneetarora8352! Selling on an e-commerce marketplace is indeed considered valuable work experience. It demonstrates skills such as entrepreneurship, marketing, sales, customer relations, and possibly even operations. When applying for MBA programs or jobs, you can highlight how this experience has developed your business acumen and practical skills. Keep up the good work! 👍
Is there any effect of age in placements. I mean do companies have some age criteria when they come for placement in Bschool ?Is it worth for a person in his late 20s (near 30) to do MBA?
Companies typically prioritize skills, experience, and potential during placements rather than age. While certain industries might prefer younger candidates, an MBA can still be worth it for someone in their late 20s or close to 30. It can open doors to new career opportunities, leadership roles, and a strong professional network. Age can be a positive if you took relevant work ex in that age.
Thanks for the reply. Approximately how much %age of people in iims that are doing a 2 year MBA belongs to this age group (28-30) ? I am asking this because I have heard that a 1 yr MBA is good for people with work-ex. However I am interested in a 2 year MBA. I'm not gonna lie , my main motivation is monetary benefits after MBA, which is I believe are more in a 2 year MBA as compared to an executive MBA.

If we cant crack cat what should we focus on to get a good company can we go in tier 2 college and include skills ? Is it important to go in class or can we study with few resources like case studies and coursera courses
You're absolutely right that not cracking CAT doesn't define your future success. Tier 2 colleges can provide excellent opportunities as well, especially if you focus on building a strong skill set. While attending classes can be beneficial, it's not the only route to learning. Many successful individuals have honed their skills through self-study, online resources like case studies and Coursera courses, and real-world experiences. Developing relevant skills that align with your career goals is crucial. Companies often value practical skills such as problem-solving, communication, data analysis, and adaptability. Networking and internships can also help you stand out to potential employers.
Yes, jobs from IIMs typically offer higher job security due to the institutions' reputation, strong placement support, diverse recruiters, alumni network, and skill development focus.
Hello! Getting into IIM Ahmedabad with a pharma background is possible but challenging. While your academic scores are good, IIM Ahmedabad's selection process considers various factors beyond just academics, including CAT scores, personal interview performance, work experience (if any), and overall profile. To improve your chances: 1. Prepare for CAT: Aim for a high CAT score to meet the cutoff. 2. Highlight Skills:*Showcase how your pharma background brings unique skills to the table. 3. Work Experience: Relevant work experience can add value. 4. Interview Preparation: Be ready to talk about your achievements and aspirations. While IIM Ahmedabad is competitive, consider applying to other IIMs and top B-schools as well. Diversify your options, and remember that dedication and preparation can increase your chances. Good luck! 🌟

Targetting cat 24
t's great to see your determination in pursuing further education at top institutes! Here's a general guideline for the CAT percentiles you might consider aiming for, given your academic background and goals:
IIMs (BLACKI): For IIMs Bangalore (IIMB), Lucknow (IIML), Ahmedabad (IIMA), Calcutta (IIMC), and Kozhikode (IIMK), a CAT percentile of around 98+ could be a good target, given your educational background and the competition.
IIT Bombay: To aim for a place at IIT Bombay's management program, you might target a CAT percentile in the range of 97+. I
IIT Delhi: Similarly, for IIT Delhi, aiming for a CAT percentile in the range of 96+ could be a reasonable goal.

10th 84
12th 81
Grad 72 percent.
Here are a few suggestions:
Reflect and Learn: Take some time to analyze your past attempts.

Sir I'm facing problem in dilr and Varc 🥺 what to do
I understand that preparing for the Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning (DILR) as well as the Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension (VARC) sections can be challenging. Here are some tips to help you improve in these areas:
For Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning (DILR):
Practice Regularly: DILR requires consistent practice.
For Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension (VARC):
Read Regularly: Reading newspapers, articles, and diverse materials can improve your vocabulary and reading comprehension skills.

Hi sir
I did my graduation in 2019, BCOM Accounting and Finance. I completed my MCOM from IGNOU in 2022 December. I have 14 months of teaching experience in a private school from Jan 2020 to Feb 2021. Working as India Post GDS since August 2022 till present.
My percentage in 10th- 93.67
12th - 92.60
Graduation - 77.57 CGPA is 6.27 out of 7
PG - 66
My graduation was not from any top tier school. Its only a normal college.
I am much concerned about it, that graduation was not from so good college.
Will I face any problem during interviews in any top MBA colleges like IIM, SRCC, DSE, FMS etc?
I have the same concern
Success of most IIT IIM guys is that they are from the Institute... Most of them fail in real life
It is all subjective and depends majorly on how much a person makes of it
Aise to engineering me IIT tag bhi khatam krdo😅😅 because many private engineering colleges or state government colleges are getting 90% of similar jobs as IITs like BITS, IIIT Hyderabad and Bangalore etc.
Yes it's all about students but college also play a great role. Because even may IITs and NITs have 60 year old MBA programs but they have relatively less recognised than even Baby IIMs.

I have not been able to find any resources if my work ex will be helpful in pursuing MBA
Another question is with my years of experience am I correct preparing for GMAT as most of the Indian colleges and IITs which specialises in operations have cutoff for CAT
It would be really helpful if you can share your thoughts on my queries 😊
Certainly,
- **Work Experience:** Your SAP consulting experience can be valuable in an MBA, even if not directly in operations/SCM.

Hi bro can u comment about SIOM nashik how is it for operations ?
I am GEM so CAT is difficult to crack

How much should i target?? I m obc
And should i do cfa lvl 1/lvl 2 and doing RUclips a bit....will that help me??? For summer placements
Plzz bhaiya help
It's great to see your enthusiasm and ambition. Your academic performance is commendable, and your background in engineering combined with your interest in finance and RUclips could open up various opportunities for you. Here are some insights to help you navigate your situation:
1. Summer Placements:
Since you're targeting summer placements, it's crucial to focus on both your academic performance and your extracurricular activities. Your 8.2 CGPA in the second year of your B.Tech is a good start, and you should aim to maintain or improve this performance in your subsequent semesters.
2. Tier 3 College:
While you're in a tier 3 college, don't let that discourage you. Companies are increasingly looking for candidates with a mix of skills, including technical skills and soft skills. Engage in projects, internships, and competitions related to your field to enhance your practical knowledge and stand out from the crowd.
3. CFA Levels:
Pursuing CFA Level 1 or Level 2 is an excellent idea if you're interested in finance. CFA is highly regarded in the finance industry and can boost your credentials. However, keep in mind that the CFA exams are challenging and require dedicated preparation. They can demonstrate your commitment to finance and might make you more attractive to financial firms during placements.
4. RUclips Channel:
Running a RUclips channel can be beneficial in multiple ways. It showcases your communication skills, creativity, and ability to manage and market content. It's also a unique aspect of your profile that can help you stand out during interviews and placements.

It's great to see your interest in pursuing an MBA and aiming for top B-schools like FMS and IIMs. Your academic record is already quite impressive, and being from the SC category provides certain advantages in terms of reservations.
For schools like FMS Delhi and IIMs, while specific cutoffs may vary from year to year, generally, a competitive percentile would be around:
FMS Delhi: Typically, a CAT percentile of around 85+ for SC is considered competitive for SC candidates.
IIMs (BLACKI): A percentile of around 85+ might be a good target to increase your chances of admission.

Sir I have an interest towards business should I go for bba. I belong from science background .what advice will u give me in this situation?
Transitioning from a science background to business is a feasible and increasingly common path. Pursuing a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) can be a good choice to start your journey in the business world. Here are some pieces of advice to consider:

Here are some points to consider:
Your Career Goals: Define your career aspirations and what you aim to achieve with an MBA.
Sir can u suggest some varc resources except cat resources any other books

Bhaiya..i am from pharma with 8/9/8 iim A possible???
Hello! Getting into IIM Ahmedabad with a pharma background is possible but challenging. While your academic scores are good, IIM Ahmedabad's selection process considers various factors beyond just academics, including CAT scores, personal interview performance, work experience (if any), and overall profile.
To improve your chances:
Good luck! 🌟
