I have 190 agents, at least 1 full set put away for long term, multiples of the ones i like/think look good, over the total investment (around $1.5k) im now around 30% up, was until last month 40% up. I use some to buy cheap agents and then sell my existing ones to make a quick like for like profit. I am not really adding to my agent numbers now as I have sufficient for long term and flipping.
Staying away from assets you don't know anything about is actually gold advice. I personally wasn't too interested in Agent Skins and I thought they cost like $15-$20 at max. And then you showed the agents cost ~$70 and my jaw dropped. Pros having that gentleman's agreement on agent skins is genuinely heartwarming. I've had many cases where an agent could be green & would blend pretty damn well with the background at further distance which gives the enemy an upper hand every time. What do you think about paris capsules in upcoming days? The price is crazy low(~0.12€) and i dont think its gonna go below 10 cents since people would just open so many so price up
In this video your trepidation towards Agents and not knowing how to price them keeps circling back to your own acknowledgement that they were good investments. Just face it, old Operation Items turned out to absolutely be a great investment and have recently reached all-time highs in 2024. People are becoming fatigued with borderless sticker investing and the mainstream investing base is finally considering looking to other areas of the market with genuine rarity to find profits and old Operation Items provide that rarity. Agents, Operation Stickers, and Operation Patches have all been stonks Q1 and Q2 of 2024. Since you say you have trouble understand the demand for Agents, I will explain Agents to you. Agents are not like other CS items where the value is dictated by rarity tier. Agent values are determined by 3 primary factors. First, the Agents in-game appearance and/or camouflage to other players. Second, how unique the Agent voice is. Third, the appearance of the Agents arms and hands in first-person view to the player who has the Agent equipped.

Operation Items have really snowballed but I would be careful buying in at these high prices.
